Yeah that's what I'm thinking too.
Eventually they'll bring out DLC area houses as well as a bunch of unique places (maybe even homes down a well, through the sewers, or in a crypt or something weird and fun).

I was thinking this too, but the houses I'm talking about aren't even exclusive to the gold cost. They're in parts of Cyrodiil and in The Hollow City. It's just aggrivating that such beautiful, bright houses with actual personality exist and yet we get (what I think) are the boring, colorless, dark houses instead.

They've tried to keep the exterior of houses in keeping with the local buildings, so to get one of those pretty Imperial houses we'd need to have a Gold Coast/Hollow City house.

Seems like a pretty silly excuse to me when the consequence is less options. I mean, I can't be the only one who prefers other imperial homes, right?
The will add those in future i bet. For now im more worried about the Imperial furniture

I expected pictures of houses for comparison. Not major city building like the bank and fighters guild hall. Just not the pics I expected no disrespect.
I actually think the imperial homes are great values for their size price. And I know they will probably release new homes every update so I'm not sweating current selection. It will expand with time.

Not so. There is a vast difference between western Imperial style (Colovian) and eastern Imperial style (Nibenese). The current Imperial player houses we have are Colovian, because they are all located on the western side of Cyrodiil. For the houses you would like to see, you need to be located on the eastern side of Cyrodiil, where Nibenese houses would be. Anvil is an exception, because Anvil architecture is in the Gold Coast style (a cross between Redguard and Colovian), and instead of creating new assets they just reused Nibenese because it was close enough.RealLifeRedguard wrote: »How would it not make sense? I see your point but anywhere imperials are in the base game you could put one of these houses. Even if it's a different style they're still imperial houses, and they're not just restricted to the gold coast.MLGProPlayer wrote: »I like the style of these homes too, but where would you put then? None of the houses in homstead are actual houses. They are all inns, banks, guild halls, castles, etc.
