I also believe due to the way that the system worked back then that everyone required a forum account so can check people's badges and join dates to see those who participated in closed betas and open betas.
Not everyone did I never got an invite to the forums when I joined the beta and just stayed away from forums for a long time. Just started in the last year voicing my opinions0 -

And i am still here and i am sill subed
I have not finished evry dungeon in the game
I have not played dragon stone areana
I have not won 1 round in vma
I have played 6 hours of pvp
I have just around 500.000 gold
I only have 1 main caracter
I only have 193 cp
.....
What i do have is fun with other players if they talk back and all my crafting skills are lvl 50 and i like to collect mounts and morfits
