Low level getting kicked from dungeons.

And then on top of that you get the penalty timer and have to wait before you can queue again.

I don't get it hey I'm 700 CP almost, my DK and temp are tank/heals/Dps and I just roll on through regardless of low lvl in normal.

I can understand the avenue of thought in vet though takes a long time due to ridiculous HP levels but there is no need to be rude about it.

Ya, this is an issue, I woulda had my sorc to 20+ easy by now. Though sadly the stupid random dungeon keeps popping me into white gold tower or imperial prison on my level 10 sorc... Like some kind of sick joke.. fix the damn dungeon finder already, it's highly unfair/ignorant to low levels.

Care to explain which dungeon you were in? If the rest of the group was also low level and you were in a dlc dungeon I can understand why they kicked you.

There is a difference in fungal grotto and wgt or icp

The only difference is knowing the mechanics. Level has zero to do with that.

IDK what the heck some people in this game expect from a group-finder group: you get what you get and deal with it.

Other than being AFK, DPS lying about their role to get a group faster or just being a toxic *** there's no reason to kick people.

if you want a speed run or you want to grind CP160 gear or just want a competent well-geared group, you do that manually. What you don't do is queue for a random PUG and then start kicking people.

I thought with this new system that it balances this ?

Oddly the battle leveling is actually balanced in the low level's favor. I remember when I was leveling my templar healer and she had 35k health, 40k magicka with almost 2k magicka regen at level 20. Or just recently my mag DK dps at around level 24 could do 45k damage from a single heavy attack with only 2 self buffs.

A couple simple solutions that would improve the experience.

Not allowed to vote kick for a time period after getting a group, or not allowed to kick until a boss has been fought.

Unfortunately, it's a common occurence. Even trying to run a normal dungeon, you'll get kicked for not being 160+ CP. Hell, once I saw someone recruiting for Fungal Grotto 1 asking for 350+ CP only.

Fungal 1 can be soloed easily.

It can be soloed easily if you have an appropriate level with appropriate gear and the necessary skills. A level 15 still doesnt have many of its bread and butter abilities unlocked yet.

I'm playing the PC version of ESO. I have 257 CP's. My gear was to my level as I crafted any gear that wasn't. I got kicked at the start of the dungeon before we even started. I have four level 50 toons that I maxed out all the crafting on. Been playing on and off since beta.

When I see people say they have less than 300 CP, I hate to say it, but I look at that as "low". Granted you may have a bunch of experience by having several level 50s, but 300 CP seems to be the benchmark where your CP abilities really kick in.

I am not taking a stand that kicking you was right or wrong, I'm just saying that perhaps if you get a few more CP, you might find you're much more effective.

So what your saying is that a new player shouldn't try any normal dungeons until they have a level 50 character with 300 cp ? I think Zenimax would beg to differ on that one.

The VAST majority of players who pull the 'kick the lowbie' are bad at the game, and try to compensate by over-leveling / over-gearing / over-CPing content.

They also tend to have poor social skills, anger management issues, and other traits that make them less than pleasant to have in groups.

Is it any wonder these are the types most likely found in the random group finder instead of out running content with friends and guild mates?

Anyways I think they should remove the ability to kick until the first boss is at least attempted.

They could also implement a system that identifies habitual kickers, and adds a cooldown to their ability to kick every time they use the function, with the cooldown increasing based on number of kicks over a time period.

I'd even go so far as to remove the ability to kick at all from any player found to be excessively abusing the kick function.

Why do people keep adding comments like soloing dungeons? This is irrelevant to anyone at level 12 on their first character.

I would advise the OP to find a friend to go dungeoning with, that way you cannot get kicked unless your friend also votes you out. My friend and I pair up all of the time and when leveling up using group finder, it stops either of us from getting kicked.

I cannot see ZOS stopping the kick from happening, it is something we have to live with, at least it is not solely up to the group leader like it used to be. For some reason there are a number of high level players who think they have more right to use group finder than lower level players.

If you want to speed run a dungeon, get your own group. My friend and I are both way past CP cap and we still look for every chest and heavy sack we can find - if others want to run ahead, we'll catch them when we are ready or they can leave.

Sometimes i too got kicked on my low lvl characters, even though i'm 570 cp with decent setup, i never felt the need to kick someone just because of lvl, people who do this are just insecure.

With magblade i managed to get 50 k magicka 25 k health and 5 k spell power buffed, at lvl 40, the scaling is crazy.

If its any of the "newer" DLC dungeons its pretty common to remove low level players.. I kind of feel that those dungeons should not be in rotation for low level characters.

The other thing that can get you kicked real quick is queuing for all three rolls.. for me I'll kick any low level for doing that as they will not be able to do all 3 roles and they are only doing it to get around queue times...

I have no issue back packing someone who is at least trying to do there roll they queued.. but don't try to cheat the queue times by choosing roles you have no intention of playing.

It is relevant in that I mentioned that if I can solo it, I should have no qualms about running with anyone regardless of level. I actually enjoy running with others that have not seen the dungeon before.

Yeah some people just want the fastest speed runs possible, but the ironic thing is they could finish the instance instead of waiting and waiting for others before the time they get what they wanted. Also even if its Vet FG 1 / Sewers 1 most people even do it at Cp 10, some people think these runs are all end game content which they aren't tbh.

I'm almost at 500 cp and I still get kicked out of normal dungeons straight away, on my maxed out character. Wtf.
