Max CP

What is the absolute max CP a player can have?
The reason I ask is because I saw a player with around 1200 CP ( that number above their head ) and was wonder if it's legit?

The max CP you can use at the moment is 561.
And I think the max total you can earn is 3600.

So if I have it right, the number shown on a players nameplate is how many CP they have, which can go up to 3600.

@Mwnci The CP that players shows only up to the current CP cap. Some players have more CP than cap but that extra cp can not be used until cap is raised.

It may be an addon feature, but the API at least allows to view the actual Champion Level of a player, on the nameplate when targetted. Same goes for group frames.

I haven't played with the box interface since ages, so apologies if this is exclusively an addon feature.
