When is that slice of the player-base ever going to listen??

@Taleof2Cities
I'm more complaining about not having a proper max magicka set that doesn't force you to use destro staff or use a pet

It's threads like this that cause the devs to tune out our reasonable concerns.
Trainee is objectively OP. Its 5 piece bonus is the equivalent of more than 7 standard set bonuses where the 5 piece bonus other sets such as Hundings, Julianos, Hulking Draugr, and others provide the equivalent of appoximately 2.3 bonuses of a standard size.

That comparison is flawed. ESO heavily punishes players for not stacking one stat, so you can't compare evenly distributed attributes to sets that focus on stacking one damage source.
Evasion: Casting this ability and its morphs now requires that you wear 5 pieces of Medium Armor.

Yeah, trainee made from best in slot for openworld pvp mDK to useless crap by one change, tremoscale with they're 10% damage reduction still procs with 50% chance every 4 seconds and apply 70% snare(which is the same as root-but you cannot roll-dodge from it) to players for almost ten seconds, holy f, so equal.stevepdodson_ESO888 wrote: »Taleof2Cities wrote: »Look! ZOS reaction and the reason for the nerf was basically this set was being "abused/exploited" by end game players...so in that respect it is perfectly reasonable for them to nerf the set the way they did
now that they included their reasoning for changes in the latest patch notes it help people to see why some things were needed
in the same way that they needed to nerf Tremorscale and explained that it was really designed to add some versatility to Tanking, but instead ended up being "abused/exploited" (in this case in PvP)
so what it boils down to is that if sets were used for their intended purpose (e.g. Trainee for new players/chars) then nerfs would not be necessary half the time
