It is clear that zos does not understand their customers with these nerfs, or the level of impact that changing 200 things at once would really do to the game.
Since they are deliberately breaking builds, why do we need to be stuck in a broken build and have to pay for their mistakes?
If they want to destroy stamsorcs, then:
- why do i need to shell out 30$ for a race change token so i can turn it into what they will allow to be a dps?
- Why should i have to level yet another char with all the extreme overhead involved when they want to reduce the number of sorcs?
- Are supposed to be happy to go farming yet another set of gear in these polluted loot tables?
I think a free race change token should be provided in the same spirit that they have reset attribute and skill points in the past.
I think that it is time for a class change token, and that they should give one for free with this update. It takes a lot of work to take a new char and get it even close to what a multi-year char has. Not to mention time in training the mount, researching and ect. It really is a lot of time when added up, not something that is really easy, because just hitting level 50 doesn't mean squat when you still have to train mounts, increase inventory and go farming the shards and heaven help anyone who needs pvp skills since that hasnt been fixed either. Or at least give us the option to 'copy' a char we already have.
Looking at all of the nerfs to gear sets, there really should be something that we can swap or trade it in for replacements. The loot tables need to be cleaned out at a minimum. As players we have to spend a lot of time and effort to get the gear, and they just make all of that effort wasted with these changes. It would be a lot easier to accept these changes if it didnt mean another 50-100 hours trying to get gear in the right traits.
I understand that MMOs change over time, but with 1tam and u13: it is quite a lot of changes. I think that if we are expected to accept this degree of change, that there should be some acceptance on their side that we will not want to be stuck. Providing the ability for us to 'reset' our chars is fair when we have to accept them changing everything.
A better solution is to make a lot of those time sinks account wide, at this point.
Stamsorcs? Stamsorc problems? really? have you seen what happened to Dragon Blood since update 5? have you seen the current changes? Have you seen what they have done to morphs like Caturize or stone fist?banner nerfs, wings, cinder storm and so on? If you are asking for a "free change" because of a few changes, then what do you think they should compensate for the mDK?

The options i was asking for would not be limited to just sorcs. If you feel that your mDK will not be as enjoyable after this update, wouldn't you want a way to see if another build was more enjoyable without having to spend 100 hours of work?
I think that giving the player a way to 'balance' their side shouldn't be so difficult. If they want to continue to promote the FoTM style, then they should give us the options to change with the game, not be stuck on crap builds or have to pay for their mistakes.
Every nerf since launch means that they were wrong on how the ability should work. The fact that every ability has been nerfed only god knows how many times, still means they were wrong on each iteration of the abilities. It has been 3 years, if they're not right by now, they never will be. If they were wrong on how the ability should work, then we were wrong for choosing that class and should let us reset when they have such drastic changes.
They make changes based on the state of the game, we should be able to have some form of balance to that.
