Destro Staff - Fully Charged Heavy Attack Cast Time

Inferno heavy attacks now take far too long to charge.

The new update to the passive should still include the 'shorted' charge time (or make the 'short time' the standard time). A fully charged destro heavy attack is currently the slowest thing in the live game. By making it even slower again is too much in the modern game.

Also makes sets that require a full heavy and skills like molten armaments kind of extra obsolete.

Yeah i don't know why staves and bows have to have the slowest heavy attack, DW is pretty quick. Probably more of that range advantage logic.

Obviously it's because the new animation means you can't empower a fully charged heavy attack. It's probably too much burst when paired with, say, assassin's will. Worse when combined with fear and meteor(there's your empower <3).

I don't agree with them, just telling you their likely logic

Duh, it's so the Miat addon can give you EXTRA advance notice when someone you can't even see is charging an attack at you. I mean, just dodge rolling or blocking prior to them actually engaging in combat is so lame. Now you can switch bars, buff up, pop a potion, and turn on your twitch stream to record you xposing them when you get that "notification" prior to them ever actually firing at you.

Good change imo. Very helpful in understanding just how profoundly "ACADEMIC" their knowledge of pvp is.

I've never heard anyone complain about the speed of staff attacks under any circumstances. Suddenly they decide to tinker with it for no good reason and produce unforseen (to them) consequences while everyone else just sits back powerless to do anything but watch the train wreck.

If you do a heavy staff attack from stealth, the moment it leaves the staff you're pulled from stealth, so the actual hit doesn't get any stealth crit bonus at all. This always bothered me. Why do bows get stealth crit bonus heavy attacks, but its a no-no for a staff?
