Out of the five guilds I'm in, four are trade guilds and one is a typical guild of knuckle heads looking to run content.. I've never seen or dealt with people demanding gold. The trade guilds you don't even have to donate if your sales are solid, which isn't hard..
Why are you demanding gold from people and blaming ZOS?
1) Is the only viable idea here.
2) Will be useless due to 1 and because we already can see if someone took too much from the bank -> guild histrory
3) Will never happen.
4) Don't really understand what is your idea? PvP reputation? PvE reputation? We already have leaderboards.
5) Definetly will never happen. Can't you see how easy it will be to abuse such system?

Crafting Materials and other items in the bank are only available to the Guild Officers to withdraw.
By doing this, any member who wants a substantial amount of Gold from the Guild has to pitch the reason "Why?" to the two leaders of the Guild. If any of my Officers take all the Mats/Items and run, I can replace those items fairly easily while reporting said ex-Guild Member.
I've found this makes keeping the Guild well funded fairly easy, and the funds that my Guildies donate to the Guild to help it prosper and purchase things that are for the Guild as a whole; well, those funds to do so are very safe with this method.
While it sucks that (most likely by your OP) your Guild got wiped out, I find that this method keeps that from happening.

Can't you see how everything in the game so far has been abused and yet its still in the game?

There is no need to add another poorly implemented system though
No, I'm not saying that. My Guild runs entirely off of donations, so me posting donation requests in the MotD is pretty standard.Ethromelb14_ESO wrote: »Uriel_Nocturne wrote: »I run a Guild, but my solution to the issue at hand, OP; is that only I and my RL wife can withdraw Gold from the Guild Bank.

What you typed made perfect sense, and my RL wife and I have done the same exact things. I even had a separate guild called Forge Masters Factory that was exclusively for crafting materials and officers that crafted. It had 13 members. I have never had my guild bank wiped out, but I have associates and friends that have. The point of my OP is that I want Zen to make it so not so much effort has to be placed on the Guild master to maintain the guild members and it's bank.
And yes some of the items are easy to replace, but it doesn't change the fact that you shouldn't have to replace anything due to greed. And lets be honest ... If these features had already been installed in the game at launch, nobody would be complaining about them, so I don't understand why people are intent on talking something down just because the idea is coming from a player and not an official.
If Zen were to make an announcement that they were adding some of these features, players would giving "awesome" and cheering 'about time' in their posts. But let a player say it, and nobody can see it working. Man, I tell you ...
Anyway, yes, I agree with you, those measures do work for now, but are you going to tell me that you never had to ask for gold from your members?

Have you ever ran a guild? If not, then you don't know how guilds get started, and I'm not going to debate that with you. Suffice to say our experiences have been different. Every single guild I have been in plays some form of lotto, and begs to get a weekly sum of gold. You've been lucky.
I personally have never asked for gold from anyone in regards to maintaining a guild, and that is why my guilds have not flourished. Most players don't just give.

But if a Guild member wants a loan or something from the Guild, they still have to go through my wife or myself. They explain why they need #$ amount of Gold, then she or I will meet up with them and directly trade it to them.
And I wasn't meaning for my post to be seen as a "take down" of your idea. Certainly more options available is always a good idea in an MMORPG, so if Zenimax implements your ideas, I definitely wouldn't complain.
But in the interim, I had thought that the example I use in my Guild would be a good hold-over until something changes within the "Guild Permissions" lists that we are given as Guildmasters.
I wasn't meaning to sound snarky in any way, and I apologize if I came across in that manner.

i'm in two of the top trading guilds on the server. all they look for are sales. how surprising is that eh? a trading guild expecting it's members to use the trader to sell stuff. no lotto, no mandatory donations.
edit to add: sales requirements.... 25k per week for one 30k the other. if you can't generate that why do you need a trade guild?

It would be cool to have a tax guild system where you could set it from 1% to 20% and turn it on and off.
I think a guild leveling system would be cool say 100million xp = guild rank 1 and adds 200 bank space
200million Xp= guild tank 2 increases the chance for higher quality items
500million Xp= guild rank 3 increases gold dropped by 1%
Include a PvP component as well would make it better for guilds and incentivize people to not get just 4 trader guilds and one social guild.
As a Guildmaster, I love all of these additions!KochDerDamonen wrote: »ComboBreaker88 wrote: »List of needed changes for guild management:

Favorites, as primarily a PC player to whom some of these do not apply in the first place. Guilds have developed a lot since game launch, and the tools we have access to should reflect this.

Guild Bank Stacking.
This was actually implemented when the game first came out. The reason they removed it was it was causing duplicating of items and was too difficult to fix so they hot fixed it by simply removing it.
Your "PC transfers" with billions of items? Yep that's how they got them.
