Don't have to call them "Hunt Quests", just a placeholder name.

The game addition of daily guild quests and overland sets has given new to life to delves, public dungeons, and dolmens which is great for the game. More to do for older and newer players that takes advantage of existing content and boosts the value of the base game. The quest type proposed extends this. It isn't a quick one-and-done daily, though.

This quest (whoever gives it) gives a chance for an ordinary mob to reveal itself as harder version with a special drop that the quest-giver wants. Depending on how it is put together, it could be one super-hard-to-find mob/drop or several somewhat hard to find mobs/drops. This tougher mob could be fought by other players after it is revealed and players without that particular quest could keep the drop for when they get that particular version of the quest.

The categories could be anything, but it would be fun/simple to have it mimic the trophy achievements:

• Atronachs
• Chitinous Creatures
• Dwemer Constructs
• Monstrous Creatures
• Nature Spirits/Natural Creatures
• Daedra
• Beasts
• Undead

Want to grind dwemer delves looking for motif pages? Have a chance to complete the Dwemer Constructs version of this quest and to earn the Faded Dwemer Scholar Red dye for earning the Dwarven Secrets Gatherer achievement already in the game. Even random encounters with overland mobs have a chance to become something more interesting.

NEW: Instead of quests it could be a new Undaunted Passive, like the Bounty one for Fighter's Guild. If you have it, there is a chance an ordinary mob will turn out to special/tough. The drops still go by the trophy categories. If you get "enough" of a certain type of drop you can trade it at a new Undaunted Vendor for rare pets, motifs, house items, etc.
