Crafting Stations in Home - I'm confused and getting frustrated

In the process of trying to figure out how I would get a basic crafting station in my house (not very clear at this time), I found myself trying to gather materials and get some sort of master writ voucher or something. Honestly I don't even know what I need. It's really confusing. And this so called master writ dealer doesn't even show up unless you have one? So how am I supposed to figure out if I even want anything the dude has? All very confusing.

Why is it so freaking hard to understand what you need to do in order to get a basic cooking pot or alchemy station in your house? I get that having the ability to craft set gear pieces in your home might be a long and detailed effort, but just basic stuff like you can do in any town? Why is that such a thing? These basic items should be available for purchase with in game gold and it should be real simple. At the very least a way to cook food.

All of the information you need is in the patch notes. Just scroll to and read the bits that discuss crafting stations.

I agree, I shouldn't have to go through LAYERS of RNG to get something as basic as a normal crafting station. And I also agree that it's not an intuitive process.

You need to wait and let the you tube videos that will spawn help you. Patience

You don't have to. Your alternative is to throw lots of real life money into decorating your game homes. Zeni's goal is to make in game furniture crafting so complex and expensive that you give up and pay them instead.

I am OK with the process, but agree that there is no enough in game information.

I would make trait 1-5 stations drop in regular writs. 6+ can drop in master writs.

It's not based on traits. A station can be attuned to any set. Your suggestion a more complicated system.

    The process is this:

    * do crafting writs of any kind (these are quests where you just have to craft specific items. you need to do the certification quests in your starter city to get these - they are then posted on noticeboards in all cities. You can do one of each crafting skill per character per day).

    * sometimes the reward for completing the crafting writs will.be a Sealed Master Writ.

    * these are harder versions of regular writs, use it to begin the quest (if you have the skills - otherwise bank or guild store it)

    * the reward for completing these will be writ vouchers.

    * When you finish the quest, you will have the opportunity to spend the vouchers, e.g. on a crafting table (35 vouchers for basic).

I believe the guy disappears again if you leave. So you have to get another master writ to find him again...

    Hope this helps anyone.

I don't mind more complicated as long as it works better. Basic stuff should be easier to access.
