Repair walls.

That or just get in the fight. Vigor should take you an evening or two at most to get.
Repair walls.
This, basically. Look on the map where you have an enemy faction attacking one of your keeps. Get wall and door repair kits for gold (and later for AP when you have enough AP to use that instead) and repair doors and walls if your side successfully defends the keep.
If your side loses the keep, this doesn't work.
Edit to add: it's faster just to get into the zerg and fight, or heal friendlies, though.
I can get vigor in a night. Im not sure why every PVE carebear has such a hard time grinding pvp for a few days. If you really want it........go get it. I have to run mind numbingly boring, repetive dungeons for weeks to get the right traits. so Im not sorry you have to PVP for a few days for a skill.

It is a long, annoying grind and not done by a normal person in "four hours". I put together a PvP healing "suit" that I just pass to any new character to get the skills. The idea is 1-be as un-killable as possible and 2-allow for healing even on a character with 0 attributes in magicka.

I think it's a good thing you have to do some PVP to get certain skills. Too many people "hate" PVP without even trying it. If you don't like it by the time you have vigor, fair enough, you don't have to go back.
