Merchants bugs

After murdering an NPC and getting a bounty, merchant refused to deal with me - that worked fine.
Once I was downgraded to notorious, I was able to sell things to her, with the exception of these thrice-damned boots.

I also just sold a few more things, and the menus don't appear to be refreshing properly. I will sell something, the money gets transferred to me fine, but it still shows up on my inventory, but without the description tab to the right.
If I switch back and forth a few times it gets even worse. The stuff I thought I sold still shows up in my inventory, but I can't sell it.
On the buy back tab there are multiples of the same thing.
Gonna go try some more murder and merchants in another area. This was in Reapers March.

DamnitDawn✭✭Ok, went to Daggerfall, murdered a few more NPCs and some pigs (ya know just for the fun of it), went into the mages guild and fought a guard, pretty spectacularly I must say, but she decimated me.
Die, bounty cleared, go to merchant who wouldn't talk to me right after the hogicide incident, and I can now sell things to him, BUT, the things I previously sold to the merchant in Reapers are now showing red, can't do anything with them. They're not stolen, I swear!!

Stuff I sold to the first and second merchants are showing up differently - some red, some not red, but can't do anything with any of the stuff I previously sold. I guess that's good, no?
Funnily enough, the quantity prompt works though. I can select how many I'd like to sell before it says NO!
