Sitting on stools - not so much

I've tried sitting on stools, both crafted and found in the world. and in both cases the character sits down and immediately stands up again. The character is a khajit, if that's relevant.
(I will try other seats when I find/craft them and edit accordingly).

(I made a separate thread because I wasn't sure if it should go in the housing, crafting, or whatever -- it applies to non-crafted stools as well, after all. Sorry, I'm a n00b at PTSing...)

I found the stools in the houses cause you to slide over to them and then you sit for a moment and then you stand up again. The chairs in the outside world do allow you to sit on them a bit more reliable but it is very finicky as you have to make sure you line up very carefully

I found that after placing a stool/sofa/whatever it was reliably possible to ait down on it the first time. However, after standing up and trying to sit down again, my charackter would immediately stand up.
