I'm on console and I'm interested im no quester so how many/what houses can we buy without the achievement?

There are 3 inn rooms you can get by doing a quest, and 3 manors that require the "Hero of..." achievements. All 33 of the rest only require that you go to the house and have enough gold to purchase them, including 3 apartments, 10 small, 10 medium, and 10 large houses.Living vicariously through my characters.

Thanks for the answer but, all I can find there is:
"Most homes require you to complete certain prerequisites before you can purchase them for gold. For example, to purchase the Daggerfall Covenant Manor, you must have previously completed the Hero of the Daggerfall Covenant achievement."

✭✭✭✭✭The quest for the free inn rooms is extremely simple. For example the DC version is:- Talk to a guy in the bank
- Talk to a guy in town
- Find a woman in a delve in another zone and talk to her
- Talk to the guy in the bank again
- Buy or craft some furniture
- Talk to the guy outside the inn room
The other houses require you to complete the main quest in the local area. For example the small house in Daggerfall requires you to purify the Wyrd Tree and the Forsaken Stronghold requires the 'End of Empire' achievement - the one you get for driving out the Imperials.
Basically if you've played through the zone where a house is located you've almost certainly completed the requirements already. Or you can just buy them with crowns.PC EU player | She/her/hers | PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!
