Yes, absolutely. You should especially be able to transfer megaservers (ie: EU -> NA). I'm moving to the US for work shortly, so obviously I wanted my account transferred to the NA server. Nope, they can't do it. But they said it's cool because I can just start a new character.. thanks for making me feel better Support.

Transfers are usually done to a blank slate. If you observe how the PTS works now, they completely wipe the old chacters before adding the ones from the other megaserver. They would need to redo how the game handles unique character names.

No, not at all.

The only reasonable option if its even permissible among the platforms is some sort of play anywhere....think of the xbox one PC situation where the save moves between both platforms Pc and Xbox One.

To me that is the only thing that makes sense however people would complain about wiping out characters so until there are 16 or more character slots.....its a trade-off.

I think people just need to make better informed decisions and if they change.....they accept the consequences.
The game is pretty basic to start over new other than crown exclusives and until now it was so cheap to buy on any platform.....just buy and move and don't look back

I agree in the NA>EU>NA server transfer possibility. For a price if so be. The longer time has passed since release the more a possible transfer becomes an important issue.

Many players have invested vast amounts of time and dollars into their characters and seeing as the lag isn't going to be fixed in a foreseeable future, on the contrary, it has now started to destroy PvE instances as well, it should be a minimum of decency to offer this service for players that have originally selected an oversea server at a time the game was actually playable 200 vs 200.

Its ridiculous theyd remove it to begin with. Consoles and PCs break down and a switch is made - what logical reason should it be removed?

I have my character invested in since launch, ill never redo all that progress again.

You're unlikely get favorable responses from the console players. Many remember that PC players came over with billions in gold and mats that were duped via the transfer process.

Between Megaservers is fine, but with a time limit.

From someone who started off playing on PS4, built a new gaming PC recently and would love to have carried on where he left off... then yes, absolutely. In my case, it has nothing to do with picking the wrong platform in the first place. I would have paid good money for such a service.

I remember at console launch, here in Australia, the US server didn't work properly for nearly a week, so my friends and I ended up going on the EU server, which was a big mistake, as the ping is much higher, and the input delay is definitely noticeable.

In summary, yes, but I'd prefer megaserver transfer, and I feel that this is also more achievable. I would literally pay hundreds for this to happen, considering the time, money and effort on getting so far on the EU server.

Yes most of my friend's are sick of pc and xbox and wanna join me on ps4 but just don't have the heart to start over again.. I don't blame em 500-700cp too much to start over so much hold tempers wasted even a paid platform change would be good

I'd like copies though, not transfers. I'd pay up to 20 bucks to copy my stam sorc to PS4. I might actually play PS4 copy then.

No. or maybe if only bound items transfer with you. No gold, telvar, AP.....just bound items that can't be sold.

I think char transfer should be a thing, but you should only get to keep bound items and they should get a special "can't be sold or deconstructed". And it should obviously cost crowns. (And a name change for the transfered character should be included)

I wouls never change console(I would never play an online game on anything but PC) but others might want too and they should have that option

I don't see reason why this should not be normal thing to do. If someone bought a console, supported ESO by buying game again for that console, he should be able to transfer all his progress freely between platforms. As long as there is an efficient system against dupes, its just fine.

Yes, i would love to copy/transfer my Account from PC to Xbox one.
I play since beta... but i overslept the opportunity to copy my PC account...

Now i mostly play on xbox one.... Because my PC sucks...

And with new RV options and Xbox Scorpio console is ok for me...

I already have an xbox- Eso account linked to mine... but i just dont want to start from scratch.... so i leave it be...

I like the idea of being able to do this; a paid service lets say to update my PS4 account which I haven't used in a while with the PC account data.

Also, as Crown Store purchase, there is lots of money to be made ZOS!

When ZOS offered transfers at console launch they made a big deal out of the "This opportunity will never be offered again" language to drive sales of the transfer service.

I doubt they will reverse themselves.

This more so that platform transfers. I understand the collisions that can happen when doing such, but at this point one would think there would be tools in place now to help facilitate that. Though I would completely understand if there was a monetary fee associated with that, as I would assume that there would need to be some hands on work done to at least verify.

Heck I would happily re-buy Eso for PC and transfer my Characters from PS4 to PC. Wish I bought it on PC but at the time my computer was not powerful enough. I would pay to transfer my characters too *hint hint*

However, I doubt it will ever happen, as said above it was a one time thing when PC users could transfer to another platform.

In an ideal world, there would be complete cross platform service...

Option 1: I just wanna hang out on the couch and farm some mats... i ll take my xbox... chilly console playing. (Better for my wrist/capaltunnel...)

Option 2: Meh! Today i want to play on pc with some friends, maybe some serious raiding...

Option 3: Today i want to play on US-Servers, because of some old friends...

I know... the Names are a problem... but you already have your "Gamertag" on the specific platforms...

Since they already stated, that the kind of synchronity this would use is to crazy ... they could at least make some individual keypoints cross-platform.
Like: Championpoints, Achievements...

Simple thing would be a copy... no refunds, no synchronity... but at least you would not have to start from scratch...

And yes... there should be mechanics in place not to impact ingame economy....

Perhaps you would allow a copy every 6-12 monts.

Instead i play STO now

Have 600cp on Xbox, but got a new gaming PC and on top of that my Xbox is dying... well, it took me 10 days to get 160cp on PC, but all the crafting skills, research, motifs, gold blackrose is quite expensive and vma weapons with proper traits is a lot of grinding...

Ready to pay 20-50 bucks for transfer of all characters.
