Ummm they are not sacrificing their time they are getting paid what the hek is wrong with you? @havginso how long does maint last?
Most of the previous maintenance took around 6 or 7 hours (5 hours if everything goes smoothly, which most of the time they don't). However, expect a DLC from the maintenance that extends it to 10-12 hours.
Meaning you'll get ~2x the amount of time to post on forums with your jabs-thread-mania while a surprise screw-you-in-the-face new content is being added into the maintenance like bugs, glitches etc.
