Purple necklace from a single kill on a werewolf?

I was beyond surprised when after killing a werewolf in Malabal Tor over the weekend I got a purple quality necklace off him. I did not think that was possible. Am I wrong?

✭It is possible. Mobs can drop set items from that zone this can include purple quality items. I have had a few purple rings drop from mobs in delves and overland.PUG Life - the true test of your skill
