Why shouldn't it be possible?
God forbid there is a build people can play that doesn't get instant killed.
A lot of builds won't get instant killed.
None of them require 80k hp.
One of my toons is actually an 80,000 health Blazing Shield tank. In all honesty, it's sort of boring to play in PVP. It's cool when a NB ganker gets a surprise and can't burst me down, but in 1v1 fights, the other player usually gets tired of me spamming blazing shield and leaves. *shrug* Might change things up and make him into a stamplar for more variety.

People need to take into account more than just what their character is wearing and using, and start looking at the big picture. Where's your support vs theirs? Can you use the terrain to your advantage?
Competitive games aren't meant to be a slugfest, where each side stands toe to toe without moving an inch, fighting to see who has the best stats. There's a lot more to it than that, and that's where your opportunity to counter players like this lies.
The blaze tank is leveraging his particular skill set to his advantage, and to great effect.
Try buffing your playstyle, instead of nerfing theirs.
I agree with this in principle, the more damage you can take, the less you should be able to deal, the more damage you deal, the less damage you should be able to survive.dwemer_paleologist wrote: »it's not right, you should not be allowed to do what people are doing.
the fact is:
the more you heal the less damage you should be able to do.
the more you tank the less damage you should be able to do.
that's the way it's suppose to be.
plain and simple!
I like diversity and i didnt heard nothing about this blazing build until now ... but i must say it was a good "surprise"...

Thats 2,800 crowns in respec scrolls i'll never get back...
You do know you can do this for gold, right?

On the battlefield with multiple people targeting the same person at once? I'm not so sure about that.
This is one of the few builds I have seen that is capable of surviving on the battlefield against multiple attackers. I'm not saying there aren't others. There might be.
My point was I don't see the harm of this build or why it should not be possible. If people want to pursue a defensive build capable of withstanding multiple attackers I believe that option should exist for them.
Ignore it or go playplanetside
This is ESO #Workingasintended
Is an 80,000 health Blazing Shield Tank leading a Zerg of Nightblades good enough reason? This was literally a first for me. Get your bridge building tools out, the river's coming.
I've lived my life with the term "Deal with it" instilled into my brain whenever something negative happens, but that still won't stop me from believing things could use a major overhaul. Come up with possible ideas to counteract what I experience whenever I go against my better judgement and enter a Campaign. Like perhaps capping everyone's Health bar at a max of say 50k in PvP areas, or...RNGesus I don't know. This makes me want to just go back to Planetside, at least everything's on equal footing over there.

Just wait for Camelot Unchained like the rest of us. it is being made by the guy who created 3way seige warfare with Darkage of Camelot. Since you play Planet Side think of Camelot Unchained as a new mid evil version of Planet Side that will have 30 classes and a Crafter class that will create all gear in the game and build all structures.

Yup ... I'm sure that launch will go flawlessly. /sarcasm
Have we not learned yet that almost every large game is a hiccup filled mess at launch? People complain, rightfully, about PVP lag outs in ESO, but the difference between today and launch is MASSIVE. People were falling through the map regularly.
