Vurian97✭✭✭Not sure why I was mentioned, LoDG doesn't have an 'Oceanic Zerg', it's like 8 people strong if that. Even then, we don't go outside of the Emperorship circle unless there are scrolls to grab.
As far as the shot at 'thousands' of Emps, I'm glad it grabbed yours and everyone else's attention on the Forums, as was intended. Take the bait, but LoDG is in your head now.
As far as the map being night-capped, I have yet to even play in Blackwater Blade yet but have noticed that the DC faction has already been night-capping here. The score looks way in DC's favor and it alarmed me which concerned me when it came to deciding to play in the campaign or not. Due to that, LoDG does not intend to make our stay that long, we are going to level our toons up and then move along so that the DC faction doesn't chase everyone else out of the campaign.0 -

Why don't you do what you recommended to me since you were posting about me while I was out spending New Year's Eve with my family? Honestly, it's pretty hilarious to know that I didn't even say anything in this thread and I was mentioned and being accused of doing stuff in a campaign that I hadn't even been in for a month. I wasn't even home at all yesterday, let alone, even if I was, I wouldn't be wasting it with people who want to claim "it's just a game" and then attack me for playing it my way.0 -

✭Man was the pvp absolutely terrible last night. DC had both us and EP pushed back to our gate keeps when I logged on last night, even though they already had all the scrolls. When we managed to muster up about 6 people to try to take Fare, a group of 12+ DC showed up in stealth to gank us at the resource. Then apparently our attempts to participate in the campaign upset them, because a group of at least 30 DC showed up at Bloodmayne a couple minutes later. The 8 or so of us who were there still tried our best to defend it, but there is only so much you can do when you're outnumbered 4 to 1.0 -

As DC I was pretty disgusted by it all last night. It was a huge group, calling out to defend Fare, BM and Arrius like the world would end of the entire map weren't blue. Being an opportunist, I still got my new toon some shiny AD skyshards and happily dance in the lakes behind your scroll temple, but I refused to participate in the DC fights.
@Vurian97 can claim it wasn't his group, but it was LODG for group in chat, and it was the same behaviors we've seen from his group on AS. ✭✭✭Did everyone forget how AD played in the past? Pop lock vs 1 bar, with EP helping them attack us? Do you know how many people quit playing because of that? Do you know how many times in the past I had to help take back Ray and Warden with AD defending when we had no scrolls?

Want to let us know who was leading the group? None of the officers were leading groups last night for PvP purposes. I was at a hotel enjoying the New Year's Eve festivities with family. My Co.GM Kawi (@dolphinfire) was running a group last night but they weren't PvPing, they were running around collecting Skyshards / Lorebooks as a group. Tonight is the first night that LoDG has been in Blackwater Blade and so far this is what we have did:
Flipped Brindle, defended Roebeck once, and then flipped Sejanus and began AP Farming. We won't be touching tri-keeps unless there are scrolls to be taken. Why would we? DC already won the campaign, even if they were gate-camped for the rest of the campaign, they already won. No point to touch them.0 -

Haha, one of the guys in our group, clearly a new player, was freaking out about people getting through the gate. Did you forget that the vast majority of AD players here condemn members of AD who hold other alliances to their gate keeps? Or that many AD players here stopped playing in BWB altogether when AD was regularly pushing DC to their gate keeps? Nearly everybody here, regardless of which alliance they play on, is against any alliance pushing other alliances to their gate keeps, because we all enjoy PVP and understand that doing so kills any opportunities to find good PVP in the campaign. I don't understand why you feel the need to start something with people who pretty much share the same grievances as you.3 -

✭@vamp_emily , all of us hated now IOTE killed the campaign. I essentially stopped PvPing in BwB during that stretch. You're not going to find people in this thread who endorse that sort of behavior from AD, EP, or DC regardless of their alliance.
That said, I don't mind the idea of playing on a non-dominant alliance. When I started playing in BwB and got my first emp Gravediggers was still going strong, CP were in the game, and I woke up to a blue map and emp each day of my push. I didn't have to go looking for fights because DC (or rarely EP Australians) had brought it right to my front door.

✭✭✭✭✭I still wonder why there are no fishing holes in the waterways behind the Gate of Mnem. I've always thought that area was one of the prettiest scenes anywhere in Cyrodiil. Do you guys on the AD side appreciate it as much, or does it lose its appeal when you can access it at any time?
By contrast, there's almost no charm to the areas behind the EP gates imo. ✭Funny thing - I only ended up playing AD because my roommate first year of medical school had this weird fixation with elves. I always played either dark elves, bretons, or redguards. I really wanted to play DC the most and EP a bit too, but he had an established character on AD by the time I got the game (I actually was super resistant to buying the game and he bought it for me when it was on sale). Personally, I hated the terrain with AD zones and keeps in Cyrodiil - I didn't love the storyline either!
When I had my DC magDK I did enjoy the storyline and zones so much for DC. They're my favorite by far. Last night for several hours AD was pop locked and we had 3 bars. Not only that EP was attacking us hard at Ales for dethrone attempt.
I know, your excuse is AD don't have any structured guild playing. But seriously, aren't we all just pugs? You guys had every chance to dethrone last night, but the only thing was stopping you was DC The toughest alliance in BwB.
