MagNB is in a tricky place...I personally built mine into an anoying frost blade and have had a blast. I'm def not OP, but the immobilize and snare potential is there for group play. Or you could just eye of the storm bomb like everyone else...

5 clever alchemist, 5 spinner, 2 skoria. you can run light or heavy. I run light for duels and heavy for open world.

I have 2 setups, 1 for Azura/Duelling and 1 for regular PvP:

Setup 1: 5x Seducer, 5x Necropotence (must have on Mag NB) and 1 Destro/Resto Staff. Currently running Master Ice Staff Sharpened and Maelstrom Resto Staff Defending

Great sustain, very large Magicka pool and access to a lot of useful skills from both Destro Staff and Class Lines

Setup 2: Replace the Seducer with Clever Alchemist

Alchemist for that power boost, goes great with Assassin's Will procs and Heavy Attacks from Stealth

Hm... I'm guessing the old classic? 5pcs. Vicious Death, 2pcs. Grothdarr, and the rest Willpower? Followed by Maelstrom Destro/Resto. Enjoy blowing up zergs with Destro Ult, Vicious Death, Proximity Detonation, etc.

I have two setups that I like. 5x VD 5x Lich 2x Grothdar & Destro Ult bomb zergs. or 5x Elegant 5x Lich & 1 Kena & Maelstrom destro. Could also use 2x Max Mag 1 pieces -- but you'd need Elegant staff.

My current top build gear wise:

5 pc spinners (destro, jewels and gloves, although the destro cost me a bomb to get sharpened inferno)

5 pc clever alchemist (resto, chest, legs, feet and waist)

2 piece infernal guardian head and shoulders.

Hits like a mother eff king truck with alchemist procc'd. I've nailed people with between 14-20k merciless's. It's freaking epic.

i run 5 spinners, 5 necro, 2 grothdar

s&b front bar, resto back bar

works well for my playstyle, just use a resto front bar if you want to play ranged
