For Blackwater Blade.
I want to know what sets to run, what pieces to run, what mundus to use, what traits on each individual piece of armor to use, what enchants, abilities, attribute points, what weapons to run (please provide names of the staff if possible) whether or not to run light helm etc. what armor pieces want to be heavy or etc.

Will be using adenoma'S nightblade builds but I want to make a Sorc too.

I agree. Already started gathering his suggested armor and the ability line up is amazing.

I'm making a build of each class too. It's odd, I've been playing ESO since it came out on console but never got into PvP builds until now and I have no clue what I'm doing.
My Blazpar is decent though for a first attempt

PvP can be amazing with a good build and a solid rotation. I often run around solo in non-vet on a magDK. Also a class I strongly recommend.

I will when I get home. This is one area where @Adenoma and I have different styles. But real quick this is what I do:

At level 10 I equip 5 Worms Raiment and 5 Kagrenacs. 4 Kags body with a destro staff. I actually use defending trait on my staff at level 10 with a flame damage enchant. I also use 4 Impenetrable and 3 divines with atronoch mundus stone. The divines are not as important at level 10 because you are so heavily buffed. 1 reduced cost neck and 2 spell damage rings. I use 2 heavy and 5 light. I am around 4k spell damage buffed at level 10. I will get you more of what I do later. Again @Adenoma does this really well and would seek advice from him as I am really just a scrub.

What level will your sorc be that you take to bwb? 2 skills that are almost vital for pvp (hardened ward and streak) aren't unlocked until lvl42 of their respective skill lines. Luckily harness magicka and healing ward can be unlocked much earlier. I've never made a bwb build but I have a lvl40 sorc on NA that I have been considering using. I would defo build around 5 seducer for the 8% reduction in skill cost. I'm guessing you have no monster sets? With no monster sets a 5/5/2 or 5/5/1 setup is out of the question, so maybe a 5/4/2? Something like 5 seducer, 4 martial knowledge, 2 torugs would give you plenty of damage and sustain. Or would you want it all to be crafted? I'm just spit-balling atm, there's probably something more optimal.

Edit: can't have all crafted anyway cos of jewels, but MK sould be easy enough to farm or cheap enough to buy, and it comes with jewels.

All of this above me is obviously based on the assumption that OP has another Lvl50 that's capable of crafting/buying everything that's being suggested.

Sorry can you just explain what you mean by 5/4/2 it's a bit vague.

@Adenoma do you have a good Mag Sorc build in mind

If I'm bored tonight I'll just write up all my builds. I have builds that I find fit my style of play and I've done quite well with in every class (except medium armor stamNB).

On stamina character i alway run 5x hundings rage, 3x night silence, 3x endurance jewelry. All purple, All stamina and weapon damage enchants. If you can manage your stamina, run max hp max stamina food, if you have trouble with suistain, orgoza stam regen hp food, or even tri-drinks work good for bwb (1k health recovery is very good in non vet for 1vx).
this set up is easy to get, and its very strong for low level pvp.

edit, i forgot, i run 2H and bow - posion injection is strong, and ranged light atack to proc weapon damage enchant on bow+ la to generate ultimate all the time, even when kiting enemy.

I quite like Shey's heavy armor sorc build in this proc damage set era.

Basic gear (Seducer <3) that just works.

That's a good build for vet if it's post 1T. What date was it uploaded?

Sorry, it's 3 months old, but from what I can gather from the comment section, people use it after One Tamriel and still recommend it. There are some more recent videos (post 1T) of the build in action, but apparently he's been banned now.

So I've actually searched all through and couldn't find it! This thread is first hit on google for "nonvet sorcerer build pvp eso". @Adenoma love your builds. Interested on your thoughts for non vet Sorc.

My guess is 5 piece Shacklebreaker, 3 more pieces for sustain, stats, or spell damage (I like Willow's Path, mag and stam sustain). Tri-stat food or Witchmother's Brew, Destro/Resto, and deciding early on if you are going to beeline either to Bolt Escape (Storm Calling rank 42) or Conjured Ward (Daedric Summoning rank 42).

I haven't played a mag Sorc at all... so unfortunately, besides encountering OP shields, Haunting Curse, and Overload (and therefore wanting to try my hand at them myself), I have no real experience.

At the time of this thread, Shacklebreaker didn't exist, Haunting Curse was a few weeks away from being on the PTS, and 3 sustain pieces was overkill.

@worsttankever - I forget if you're PC/NA or not but you can mail me in game to ask about builds anytime you'd like at @calcalcal. I'm studying for my last boards exam of med school right now so I'm not playing a whole heck of a lot but I'll get back sooner or later. Otherwise just message me on here.

So what you get out of sorc all depends on how much you're willing to grind and whether or not you're playing for group vs. solo play. If I were running solo I'd probably run front bar soul strike, but I do a lot of small group in nonvet and I beeline for destro ultimate. Nonvet sorc is absurdly overpowered when you consider how they've set up leveling. By level 32 (almost 33 if I remember correctly) you can have unmorphed destro ult, unmorphed streak, and hardened ward. To me, that's absurd and unbalanced. In the past I've geared 7L (really there's no point in nonvet of going anything other than 7 of an armor unless you're a heavy armor stamina player using shuffle in which case run 5H/2M) running 4x mara's, 4x magnus, 3x willpower with all spell damage glyphs and atronach mundus.

With Shacklebreaker out I'd probably run 5x shacklebreaker, 3x willpower, 3x magnus. I'm not a huge proponent of using things outside of crafted sets and willpower/agility because you can easily obtain that gear and when I was playing predominantly nonvet I ground all my characters in Haderus sewers so that I'd get telvar stones and key fragments which I turned in for willpower and agility (all arcane/robust) at levels 32, 40, and 46. In my eyes if you want to farm overworld and PvP just go play vet. All my gear is impen and destro is sharpened, resto defending. I won't change anything for the next patch with respect to traits.

Race-wise I really, really enjoy argonian in the Morrowind patch. Combined with Shacklebreaker it lets you manage your stamina very well which is generally what screws magicka builds in nonvet - and vet - so you just chug a potion when you become CCable and you're too low on stamina. You lose a little bit of recovery and max magicka compared to high elf, but I much prefer to not die because I'm out of stamina. I tested this when I took my magicka warden through and got emp and I preferred argonian to any other race choice. I think the buff to the atronach mundus next patch makes this even more viable.

I like magsorc in nonvet a lot because you don't need to grind mage's guild and if you wanted you don't need to grind for destro ult. This allows you to really just grind to get healing ward, bolt escape, and hardened ward. Also be a vampire - undeath applies to shields.

Here's how I set up my bars:

    Destro:
    -Crushing Shock
-Endless Fury (I might have the name wrong, but the one that returns magicka on kills)
    -Inner Light
    -Haunting Curse
    -Crystal Frags
    U: Destro Ult/Soul Strike

    Resto:
    -Healing Ward
    -Hardened Ward/Haunting Curse
    -Power Surge
    -Harness Magicka/Dampen Magicka (preference based)
    -Bolt Escape
U: Overload - if in group run negate here instead. Overload bar is just for 1vX utility.

    Overload:
    -Hardened Ward
    -Dark Exchange
    -Defensive Rune
    -Boundless Storm
-Rapid Maneuvers (because mounts suck in nonvet)

You can flip flop hardened ward/haunting curse to front or back bar based on preference. The first explosion of haunting curse will use the trait of your restoration staff so it'll deal a little less damage if you back bar it. Hope this helps!

Edit: forgot to mention for the most part on magicka builds I run witchmother's in nonvet. MagDK is the only thing that I run trifood and then on all stamina builds I run Dubious Camoran Throne except stamblade on which I run Jewels of Misrule.

I forgot to mention - you can level up skill lines via bookshelves when you get within 5/10 levels of the desired skill. There are 5 sorcerer skill books, 5 light armor books, 10 destruction staff books, and for some reason no resto staff books. I just make a chart of each alliance zone and go to locations that I've learned where there are tons of bookshelves. Each of your alliance zones will have 2 destruction staff skill books and 1 of sorcerer and light armor. This means to get bolt escape you'd only need to be storm calling level 37 and to get destro ult you'd only need to be level 40 and so forth.

All other skills have 5 books (destro/resto are weird ones) except for nightblade class skills which strangely only have 4 and wardens which have none. There are no books that will boost your racial skill or things like WW/vampire/soul magic/legerdemain.

    Hope this helps!
