Seriously, what are the chances these nerfs, even assume they nerf destro ult and Jesus beam and whatever else. Do you seriously think that would be enough to stop their crying?

Have you ever even done trials properly? Because then you would know that certain (magicka) proc sets are indeed overpowered.

Lmao how is that PVPers fault? No one asked for that pvpers wanted proc sets to no longer be stackable you should be made at Zos and only Zos.

What do you expect? All children do is cry. I have watched them ruin a game I loved for the pvp children (looking at you destiny...) Companies need to make a choice. Cater to the very loud/vocal supreme minority of the player base, or tell them to gtfo. Well idk if they ever will, so I will. Gtfo. Seriously.

Isn't this true about every demographic though? If they made it harder than EQ1 or UO then the mass PvErs would complain.

You can't please everyone, and that is really the issue with game development anymore. Companies try to please everyone and instead of making a great amazing game you just got a mashup of ideas that appeal to a mass of people, but nothing that truly stands out like games use to.

yes they do I know many pvp players sub and buy stuff from the crown store.I can't say all of them just like you can't say every pve only player buy crown store items.

Also I love when people say PVP make up a small demographic of games population but the most successful games are heavily pvp focused.

I think all end game trials guilds should farm AP this week, spamming whatever skills you like raking in the AP. Like candy from babies, farming AP from scrubs that can't do end game content would be fun. It is much more relaxing than actually having to try and play a role perfectly with a perfect rotation that is for sure.

There's a difference to casuals and hardcore players.
ESO already appeals to the casuals which kills the game as they change games quickly and come back every so often.
Hardcore players stick around through all the BS and keep funding the game.

The upcoming changes aren't entirely bad although I'd like it to only affect PvP but nonetheless proc sets will be fine, this game is already easy enough that most people have solo'd all dungeons except trials. PvP is the end game so to fix that would definitely be a top option.

Yes I buy all the motifs, mounts and costumes. I've spent a fortune in the crown store. But I'm an adult with a job and disposable income. Subbed continuously since april 2014 too.

Some people are interested in balance, others just want their favorite character to be the strongest.

I used to play with one guy who was always complaining about how stamina characters were the weakest, and really needed a buff. Then started complaining when ZOS released the list of upcoming update changes which included some buffs to Dragonknights. (This was the update that added the heal to Burning Embers, and changed one of Inferno's morphs to Cauterize). "Dragonknights are the only class that kills me in PvP. They need a nerfed, not a buff!"

Erm. So... stamina needs a buff because it doesn't feel powerful enough... but Dragonknights need a nerf because they are the only class that ever kills you... Then somehow nerfing the only class that can currently beat you while also buffing your chosen damaging resource to make it strongee somehow brings balance?

There will always be people like that in PvP. Their opinions, IMHO, do not matter. It's the people who view balance as either an equal playing field (difficult to implement) or a set of rock-paper-scissors style counters (easier to implement) who do matter, and their thoughts after testing in the PTS are what I am interested in hearing about.
Why be normal when you can be better?

A person can be a child at any age. I am also in my 30's. I am just tired of good games, or hell anything for that matter being ruined by people who flop on the floor and throw a tantrum. It's high time we let these people wear themselves out crying, let them know they are a tiny % of the base and politely ask them to move on.

But there are things in pvp worth crying about if you care about pvp. People should be lynching zos for not allowing separation between pvp and pve. In-fighting is stupid and pointless.

PvP players will never stop complaining until an entire game is nerfed to blancmanche. And even then, they will start to complain that anyone with a better spec PC has an advantage and 'it's not fair', and then it will be everyone should use the same mouse and keyboard and have throttled Internet access so no one on FTTP gets an advantage, and so on. Incessant whinging thinly disguised as special pleading for 'balance' is what defines PvPers as a group.

However, holy cow, the whinging from the PvE players the last 24 hours has been something to behold! It's amazing that as a group the PvE players can whine about RNG being grossly unfair in a game when they don't get the monster set they want, but by god look at the crying when the effects of proc-set RNG are slightly tempered.

I happen to be a gm of an AD PvP guild, we put alot of focus in each players development and skill, I can tell you that with enough skill any class can be great.

Also we are all over 25, most in 30 s or higher and push a positive atmosphere, Imo the best players and the emotionally stable are in the majority and happy w most things, it's less than percent of pvp ers that whine and complain and are never pleased, bc they likely wouldn't be pleased by anything.

It affects more than just games also. I work for a very large retail company, in a senior management position. We have people who throw fits, game our systems, call corporate to get massive discounts, and steal from us each day. I am not allowed to say no, they know this and scream the loudest of all.

Want to know how the impact of the few affect the many? We evaluate the cost of this each year and guess what? We build for the projected costs by raising our prices! This is growing at an exponential rate year by year. All because we are picking up the child from the floor, dusting them off, telling them that their feelings are validated, and giving them what they asked for.

Or we could just ignore them, move on and cater to our paying customers who have respect, and grow that base.

End game PvEers have always complained just as much as PVPers. I remember before the Maelstrom weapon nerf everyone complained about how much better stamina DPS was. Everyone complains about Maelstrom RNG. I even know PvEers who wanted proc sets nerfed because a couple are so good in PvE there is no reason to run anything else. If you want to get the PvEers worked up just start a thread about buying Maelstrom weapons a AP. The only people who don't consistently complain are questers and role players
