Bone shield is not useless. It's great for my bs tank and if you have a group where people use synergies you don't need a healer for any 4 man bc of it. 60%on to of 18 is 11k damage shield for dps. It does require you to call out even they'll need to use it. Plus you can do it 3 times in a 4 man group in a row, effectively shielding at least 33k damage. Just requires people knowing how to play

Annulment (light armor). It was situationally useful, I suppose, but other things were more enticing.
    Raiquen Breton Sorceress (damage)
    Brangaene Bosmer Nightblade (damage)
    Corlyss Dunmer Templar (healer)
    Illispeth Imperial Dragonknight (tank)
    Kosara Breton Warden (healer/DPS hybrid)

Equilibrium - trade health for magicka (unable to self-heal)

    This

I remember the days when Equilibrium was a "must slot" skill...

Agony has its uses, but they are rare, and I usually don't spend the skill points.

Stonefist is pretty lack luster as well.

Also one could break this down into 2 classes...

    1. Skills that are not even worth messing with because the whole concept sucks.
    2. Skills where everyone takes a particular morph because the other one sucks (or is so much less effective).

    Playing since beta...

Inferno: Super underwelming, I finaly got it to rank 4 so I could morph it (and the morphs felt really bad so I didn't) and now I can finaly take that away and get Poison Breath back.

No. Inferno (specifically the Flames of Oblivion morph) is a great skill that is used by nearly every magDK in PvE. It's a DoT that doesn't even need to be applied to the mob. You just click it on, and go about your rotation while it puts out damage.

All the CC that breaks on damage spells like Petrify. I have never been in a situation where I felt like that skill would be usefull.

Useful in PvP (lock someone down if you need time to regain resources or simply to escape) and super useful for ppl who are still learning VMA (lock a high-damage archer or caster down so you can focus on other things without getting blasted by ranged attacks).
