If the rumours are true and they are introducing new classes...

I already have 12 characters and I would delete them, but let's face it... having a fully fed horse, undaunted and Alliance levels take much more work (and time - 180 days for the horse) than just leveling a toon to 50.
The same powers that said that crafted gear would always be the best?
I did say it, didn't I?TheShadowScout wrote: »...unless they change their minds someday...
Those who already have 12 characters made may look at it differently. Especially when you add riding training and crafting research...dodgehopper_ESO wrote: »I already have 12 characters and I would delete them, but let's face it... having a fully fed horse, undaunted and Alliance levels take much more work (and time - 180 days for the horse) than just leveling a toon to 50.
If they add classes, I'd just like to make more characters. In fact I wish I could make a couple more characters as it is to fit in a couple more build ideas I have.

Of course, new classes would be more painful when touching upon the "Arrrggghhh, why in oblivions name was that darn class not available when I made this nifty character, it would have been sooooo much better for the background..."
One of the main reasons why I keep saying that if they want to give us more classy fun (and they should) they best make it in some way that can be easily refitted to existing characters, so -everyone- can benefit, no matter if they just started their first character, or have been playing since launch.
But if they don't, and just add classes... then affordable class change would become an issue. I'd still resent it though.
I don't believe so. The tokens are largely cosmetic, and a class change is much more than cosmetic.
Besides, if you're going that far you're probably better off making a new character anyway.
If the rumours are true and they are introducing new classes (Matt Firor said that was a possibility) and we won't get the spellcrafting they originally promised us (Matt Firor has basically said we won't) then I think they'll have to offer class changes.
I have eg. created several characters with nature themed names. None of the existing classes work for that so I just had to go with one and wait for spellcrafting. But now it looks like they're reviving wardens instead.
Do I want to delete my characters with their great names and worst of all restart the godawful horse feeding grind? I really don't. And if I'm forced to make that decision I'm more than likely to just play a different game instead.

If they ever add a new class, they will for sure increase the character limit. At a price of course...
