    Yes

It's not that normal isn't worth doing but that trials should drop all purple in normal and have the loot bag at the end too

Veteran can stay very hard but I'd argue that instead of having Vet and normal, to have a scroll at each boss to vary by boss vs overall

Then lower the difficulty slightly for scroll activation. Very slightly.
What's Vet now should be heroic as there's not Vet anymore or maybe just call it difficult. now IMO should drop all gold items as it is actually really difficult. Gold loot should be upped by 100% in what's called Vet.

From there, it'd be cool to have a different queue for trials that was a sign-up type and allow ppl to request to join a listed incomplete group as well as start a group and list needs that reset weekly

I can't say we need more cause there are a ton of ppl who've never done them.
    For a solid comparison.

SWTOR is 5 years old this month and has 9 operations.

ESO will be 3 years on April 4 and doubtful a new trial will be delivered meaning it will be 3 years old with only 4 trials.

3 trials were released in the first year of this game then development stagnated The 4th trial was released after the second year. At this pace we might see a 5th trial near the end of 2017, more likely in 2018.

I certainly prefer this game over SWTOR, but the development of ESO has been woefully slow. Then again, Devs said earlier this year ESO does not have much in the way of a hard core base so it may not be a priority to keep the interest of those of us that are here.

They get what they make. The whole "people only show up briefly so let's make small content" is likely based on numbers resulting from the slow place of development. If you build something people won't stick around for, that's what will happen--they won't stick around.

Yes. It has not only been the pace of developement that has been sad but we went almost 2 years without any trial at out level making raiding in this game the worst of any major MMO.

Zos finally got some smarts and rescaled the craglorn trials. However, ESO is still majorly behind any game they would want to consider their peers.

ESO, best graphics of a large MMO. Great story line Worst in available end game content.

Sounds like you think ESO will never be on the scale of WoW. I hope that's not the case. I want ESO to rival or surpass WoW.

Currently ESO is not even on the scale of SWTOR concerning the development of end game content. Zos started off strong then only released the 4th raid at least 18 months after the previous one.

Nothing has been mentioned so again, it looks like at least 12 months from MoL until the 5th one is released. I expect even those who only do normal trials will get bored.

    It wont.

WoW has an identity, and ESO has yet to decide upon it's. Until it does, it will never have a chance in hell.

Doctor that is the nail on the head.

Correct, every AAA to date has released 3x the content Eso has at this point post release. Hell that little 60 million dollar project Rift released more content for free in its first year then zos has.

This discussion is about how we can improve trials in ESO:
It's already been over half a year since Zenimax gave raid fans Maw of Lorkhaj since they were getting tired of the Celestial Trials. However, there are already 26 regions in ESO Tamriel with another on the way. Yet, we only have 4 raid level dungeons. What's more, there are now so many high level players that the normal versions are no longer a challenge and are just farmed for the loot. And once you have what you need, there's no reason to go back. As for Vet versions, the difficulty is so high that only the hardest of hardcore players can complete them. In my opinion, we need more trials to give us raiders more variety. Ideally, a trial dungeon for every region. Personally, I think adding a trial for the Celestial Thief would give a "complete the set" feeling. In addition, the fact the trial loot is bond presents a problem. Even though you can now trade loot with your party members, it somehow feels wrong that you yourself need to be a crafter to get a full gold set via improvement. And it's not likely that even the closest of friends would use their rare gold material for each other unless that had premium loot or A LOT of gold to trade; the window of commerce is small since you can only trade with your party members for a limited time. As for the gold jewelry that only drops in the Veteran Trials, I feel it's to "exclusive" that only the most dedicated players get access to them; they can't sell them from the guild merchants even if they wanted to. Originally trial loot could be sold from the merchants, but was removed because it was considered a too easy way to get trial loot; flooding the market if you will. But now it's so easy to complete the trials that it doesn't matter. I think they should change it back and allow you to sell all unworn loot. If they still don't want market to flood, they can provide ESO with three special merchants (one for each Alliance capital) that can sell any trial loot. Having so few merchants selling the best loot would keep the market from flooding and encourage more competition and game community participation between guilds. This would also give players who are unable to devote time to play Veteran Trials on a regular basis a chance to enjoy all the awesome armor and weapons ESO has to provide. I look forward to reading more ideas on how we can improve raids in Elder Scrolls Online.

Listen you have access to 99% of the gear. The gold jewelry means very little. For the most part you can craft comparable to the sets that drop in trials . Heck even the tanks for the dam game use a crafted set. Let them have their reward why do you have to have that gold jewelry any how. Every maxed cp chr with crafted gold gear is already over powered for the content of this game

Last night I briefly joined one of those elite hardcore guilds just so I could find people to farm vDSA for Master Weapons; I haven't beaten it since the game was scaled to v14. However, even most these guys stopped doing it because it takes so long. Anyone else have any thoughts on ESO infamous 4 man trial?
