This discussion is about how we can improve trials in ESO:
It's already been over half a year since Zenimax gave raid fans Maw of Lorkhaj since they were getting tired of the Celestial Trials. However, there are already 26 regions in ESO Tamriel with another on the way. Yet, we only have 4 raid level dungeons. What's more, there are now so many high level players that the normal versions are no longer a challenge and are just farmed for the loot. And once you have what you need, there's no reason to go back. As for Vet versions, the difficulty is so high that only the hardest of hardcore players can complete them. In my opinion, we need more trials to give us raiders more variety. Ideally, a trial dungeon for every region. Personally, I think adding a trial for the Celestial Thief would give a "complete the set" feeling. In addition, the fact the trial loot is bond presents a problem. Even though you can now trade loot with your party members, it somehow feels wrong that you yourself need to be a crafter to get a full gold set via improvement. And it's not likely that even the closest of friends would use their rare gold material for each other unless that had premium loot or A LOT of gold to trade; the window of commerce is small since you can only trade with your party members for a limited time. As for the gold jewelry that only drops in the Veteran Trials, I feel it's to "exclusive" that only the most dedicated players get access to them; they can't sell them from the guild merchants even if they wanted to. Originally trial loot could be sold from the merchants, but was removed because it was considered a too easy way to get trial loot; flooding the market if you will. But now it's so easy to complete the trials that it doesn't matter. I think they should change it back and allow you to sell all unworn loot. If they still don't want market to flood, they can provide ESO with three special merchants (one for each Alliance capital) that can sell any trial loot. Having so few merchants selling the best loot would keep the market from flooding and encourage more competition and game community participation between guilds. This would also give players who are unable to devote time to play Veteran Trials on a regular basis a chance to enjoy all the awesome armor and weapons ESO has to provide. I look forward to reading more ideas on how we can improve raids in Elder Scrolls Online.

Even swtor had almost twice as many end game raids at this stage in life. This has been and will continue to be an issue for player retention.

I agree that we need more trials. However the loot system is perfect the way it is, at least in trials. Gold jewellry should be only for raiders good enough to complete the hardest content. If you cant complete veteran trials you can still get the gear in normal. Currently that is the only aspect that rewards end game raiders for their effort. Effort = reward. If you are not able to devote enough time you get rewarded accordingly. Most raiders I know are already furious with the golden vendor selling gold jewelry.
I have pugged every vet trialapart from maw and completed hrc an so hardmode of pure pugs. Whats the problem?

I can't imagine a context for you to defeat The Thief. She's the good gal!

Lol. vSO hardmode doesn't even count. I too have seen pug groups (~120k group dps) finish every crag trial, so I agree that their difficulty is right about where they should be.
That would make sense, but they would need to change the storyline as wellI was thinking a plot along these lines. Before you defeat the Serpent, he uses all his remaining power to curse the Thief in an act of vengeance. Now you must defeat here and break the curse. This way you can complete trials for all the major constellations.
