While I can read the article, it appears the biggest issue was the free weekend accounts. Like I said before I'm not on pc so I don't know how they enforce it there. On console, xbox at least, I can create many different accounts under my live account. I wonder how they would enforce that, being that it's perfectly fine with Microsoft.

Really doesn't bothere me as I keep my inventory levels low enough to have plenty of space.

Hmm, I can reach it from the link above. Here is the post in question

Just a warning if anyone tries to do the same thing. I created a guild over the weekend for more storage with some trial accounts. Well Zenni got wise to this and deleted the entire guild. I lost probably 500k or so of mats. Pretty upset but I can't blame them. So just warning people if they bring the trial accounts back don't do this.

    Email I received from Zennimax

    "Greetings,

It has recently come to our attention that your guild reached the guild bank threshold through the inclusion of multiple accounts with free weekend keys, and that many of these free accounts appear to be duplicate accounts. Please be aware that creating multiple free accounts to get access to guild storage is not intended behavior, and is disruptive to the game service. As such, we have disbanded this guild.

    Thank you for your understanding."

True it is talking about the free accounts, but all accounts are free now unless you choose to sub. And, maybe they don't care if you use 10 sub accounts to do this. All I know is I have seen enough evidence to lead me to believe that setting up 10 or more accounts in order to create a guild is not kosher.

We're not quite at Free-to-Play yet, you still have to buy the base game to get an account.

The thing is I know people who have done the buy-10-accounts-to-get-a-guild-bank thing and they have not had any issues.

@ZOS_GinaBruno can you clear this up for us? Is buying 10 accounts and setting up a private guild liable to get you and your private guild in trouble?

Why don't you do what I did?

Go to beginner zone, spam invites to people, get about 60+ people to join. That way you have a buffer for those who inevitably leave the guild. You only need 10 people to have guild bank.

I did this about September of 2015 and I still have 49 people in the guild. More than half of them haven't logged on in 5+ months so I have no worries of them leaving. If it gets too close to the 10 person limit I will simply spam more invites to randoms in beginner zones.

Most new players feel like they have more than enough guild slots and will only leave the guild if they need to make room for another.

@IronCrystal ...that's some really good stuff...

just as far as how that process might work - did you create the guild - then invite folks; or, did you need to add those folks as friends first - then create the guild?

@geonsocal You create a guild first. When looking at the guild roster, you can type the name of any player to send them an invite to the guild. No need to friend them at all. It will send a notification to the player and he can accept or decline.

Obviously not everyone is going to accept but enough new players do it anyways. Some will leave after joining but that's fine. You only need to just spam invites to names of people around you and a small percentage will join. You only need 10 after all.

Another less obnoxious way to do is (or at least this worked pre-dungeon scaling) was I offered to carry new players through Spindleclutch. At the end of the run I asked if they wanted to join my guild. Often times people agreed.

I know pc has codes for new accounts,

Since all the Accounts would come from the same IP, this would be noticed and the extra accounts disabled and the guild disbanded.
It is easier on PS4 because you can have multiple users set up on the same PS4, all accessing the PSN via a primary PSN account. Each of them can have their own ESO account and only one user can log in at a time, so there can be no breach of game rules.

I can do the same on xbox, just a pain, I don't about PS but xbox I'd have to make 9 different accounts with separate emails. Unless something has changed.

Do you need separate copies of the game though?

I seem to be doing okay with 100/80 on my characters and 100 in the bank.

I actually just go sell my mats in my guild stores periodically, either they sell and I make money off them (perhaps to rebuy them if needed) or if they don't I can cancel the listing if I suddenly need them.

I have a bunch of junk that is just listed sitting in guild stores from before I had the addon when I had no idea what to price things at... I have another 10 days at least before I have to worry about that junk agian then I can store it in my mail for another 30 days. :D !

Its kind of like juggling :P

I am constantly selling and deconstructing things from my bank to make room. I am sure to find another thing with that trait when i get around to researching it.

    considering my "social" noobness:

i think if i implement the whole build your own bank (guild bank) strategy - i may just advertise down in the guild recruitment section of the forums...

i'd kinda like to keep some useful stuff there...and, as much as possible - keep it amongst some cool folks (roll of the dice with randoms - sorry randoms :#)...

most of the folks on the forum are pretty "do-right" kind of folks...plus, i can go through many of their posted comments or threads to screen them...

you are a spark of inspiration @IronCrystal :)
