Double XP Broken?

The double XP you gain from drinking from the keg seems to be a bit buggy. I'm not sure if this is happening to everyone but it's going away after you die. I know that would happen with the cake if you went into pvp and died. I've heard from multiple other people that they are also losing the XP bonus after they die in PvE areas such as dungeons. Please fix this so we can enjoy the double XP without having to go get it after every death.

Can you make it a memento or something while fixing it...cause going to the keg is a nightmare right now trying to actually interact with it. Seems the book is being read instead on xbox one NA

Poor @ZOS_GinaBruno...I imagine after this week, she is going to have no hair left to pull out. Sad that employees like this have to take the brunt of the ineptness of fellow employees. @ZOS_GinaBruno Didn't know this was even a thing as I haven't managed to die yet, but good to know it's being looked at, should alleviate some of the stress on the servers too with less noobs running back to the keg constantly.

omg... I didn't noticed it. I died during a dungeon run and lost the buff, I could get 62k exp in the final, and i only got 31k...

Ok guys, we're testing a fix for it now, and are currently planning to hotfix it on all platforms tomorrow. Stand by for more details as we get everything finalized.

Any word on fixing the event in whole? Takes 30 minutes to get mead or get a single quest with the constant crashing and forever load screens

Maybe now is a good time to check for feedback vs throwing something out there

Maybe....because it's also running on server time vs actual played time

You're right. I used the keg just before logging off earlier, logged back in and it was gone.

Its not giving 100% Experience either, I killed a bear without drinking and got 256 exp and then again after drinking and got 358 exp, that's 50% not 100%. Also does the drink work with other things like scrolls?

As other XP buffs from events have, it should work with scrolls as well

it's in the same pavilion where the quest-giver is. With the kynesgrove wayshrine at your back, and Breda in front of you, there's a keg on a stand, to your left. It's not at arm's length, you need to go a few steps that direction to reach it. Drink, and you're good for 2 hours (except for dying, till they get that fixed)

If a hotfix is in the works, and scheduled for today, and -if- it takes nearly half a day... would the New Life Festival be extended a bit to make up for the game-time lost? I'm not affected because I'm at work, but I'm sure many others would be dismayed at the servers being taken down, again, for yet another fix that shouldn't have been necessary, in the first place. Or, I don't know, just extend it anyway to make-it up to the players for all the problems many have encountered after this week's patch?
