Yep, we're aware and working on getting it fixed. Thank you!

Thanks for letting us know before someone called you out on it. That is the straight forward communication we expect from ZOS. You should make a list of things that work properly because that list would be easier to update & manage.

Shrug, same *exact* mobs are fluctuating between 500xp and 1.5k xp with little rhyme or reason. Only me on em, etc. Only commonality is the xp buff and 50% or so from training gear.

Maybe its just me, but I'd not bother with XP scrolls or ambrosias with it being so wonky. YMMV.

Its still broken when you log out of your character.

FWIW, for me anyway, delve mobs in general seem to be the wonky bit. But its possible they've always given a trifle less and its only so noticeable with all the stacking. /shrug

XP Buff is still running out while logged out. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom will this be fixed? If I swap characters I have to run back to Eastmarch again.

Having the XP buff continue to run after you log out is actually intended, and is not something that will be hotfixed.

So even though every other buff in the game stops runing when you log out, it was intended this one be different.

Wow this really is a different kind of MMO. Or really game period. Maybe we could get more things to randomly work different. That would be fun and exciting.

I see this as a fix for Witches Festival, not something broken in New Life Festival. I probably still have characters with over an hour of Witches Festival effect left, and I have seen a few running around Eastmarch this weekend. I dunno if that includes the XP buff, but even if it does not, I can see them wanting the event effects to end when the event does. This is an easy way to do that.

Incorrect. The reason behind this is so characters won't continue to have an event-related XP buff after an event ends, which could lead to stacking multiple event-related XP buffs or other various scenarios. Just like what @lordrichter mentioned.

So we took time to change something because we were afraid that a person might get one event buff. And instead of using it to level to max level in a couple hours. They might save it and months later stack it with another event xp and level in a couple hours....

    I get it.... I guess...

From what I remember seeing in another thread, the event-XP buffs actually multiply each other. So, if you've got a witchmother XP boost and a holiday boost, you'd be getting 4x XP for 2 hours. And I've got no idea what this does to enlightenment.

I can take a wild guess why ZOS doesn't particularly want this kind of stacking to occur going forward.

That's not the case. Each buff adds 100% of the original exp. So you end up with 300% or 3x the original rate.

Though, good to know, thanks. Either way the point was to get players into the game and actually running content, rather than logging in, collecting their buff, and then saving it for next month.

You know, we didn't HAVE to have a double exp on this festival. At least we're getting something instead of whining about having to go back every single 2 hours.

It's the main reason I took the claims at face value. I mean, honestly, I couldn't check, because I got so sick of looking at that skeleton, I canceled the buff the instant I hit Sun's Dusk Reaper on each character I grabbed it on.

I'm freakin' ecstatic that ZOS did not attach a compulsory polymorph to the XP doubler this time around. Though, I do kinda wish they'd actually given us the polymorph during Halloween, so we could use it, if the moot struck us.

    NOT FIXED

Just wasted a few hours this afternoon and was wondering why leveling on one character was so much slower than another, and it turns out the second character has the mead buff, but not the 100% XP buff.

Have tried logging out and going back to the keg, nothing so far has fixed the buff - it still just shows as the mead buff without the 100% XP.

Is it really that hard to have a working XP buff???
