Update 13 Balance/Combat Infos

    The only change I want to see is decoupling magicka / stamina from raw damage.

    It will NEVER be worth putting points into health while it's like this.
    Hybrid builds will NEVER work while it's like this.

    They have forced us to 100% specialise with this mechanic.

    Hyvrid builds still work but they just don't work as dps roles.

    They are more support roles, stuns, roots, negates, dmg buff's etc...

    Hp is not a wasted stat anymore, you have to put some in now unless you want to get bursted by the s&b proctato tank.

    Yay buffing magicka DKs. This will be so useful to me, a hybrid DK. :/ I seriously hope that after the year's worth of updates I've got downloading finish that the game isn't just going to grind my face into the dirt for being optimistic.

    Magicka templar does not need buffing at all.

    we need reworked:

    - Aura
    - Eclipse
    - Aedric Ultimate
    - Sun shield
    - Healing ritual

    Not "improved". Fully, completely reworked.

    From all of those, I can only agree with Healing Ritual Being reworked.

    I mean whoever though "how about we make a cast time heal?" should get a medal.

    Our goal is to make it more valuable to spend points in health instead of just going all magicka or stamina. The reason this is so powerful is you're getting to deal more damage and heal yourself for more by maxing offensive stats. The current design is still in progress, so l don't have concrete details for you right now.

    Aura is repentance? Like really?
    Eclipse is used in duels.
    It misses if you use it wrong, try ccing them first. The dmg is higher than dawnbreakers initial hit.
    Healing ritual is a bit lack luster like i said but it's used in big groups to great affect.

    He's talking about the other morph or aura which is 100% absolutely totally useless.

    Eclipse is a garbage skill. One morph is totally useless and the other you could argue has a niche in duels only but even then I'd disagree and say its a waste of a skill because of the CC immunity it grants and its high cost.

    Radial sweep is completely inferior to dawnbreaker. Damage wise, the initial hit is just slightly more to enemies directly in front of you but dawnbreaker's dot is much bigger. Dawnbreak is significantly easier to land (I think radial sweep can be dodged too, correct me if I'm wrong, it sure feels that way), has more range, and has an AOE stun. It doesn't make any sense that it should have less range than sweeps. CC beforehand or not it is difficult to land, especially for the full 66% damage increase because you need to be on top of the person so if they are just to the left, right, or behind you it is just a worse surprise attack. The tanky more is inferior to 1h&s morph as mentioned.

    Sun shield is fine I guess. I'd personally like to see it reworked to make it more universally viable, but you're right if you build specifically for this single skill it definitely has its place.

    Healing ritual is horrible, nothing more needs to be said about that. I feel like you're just disagreeing with this one for the sake of putting down the post you're replying to.

    Multiple completely useless passives haven't even been mentioned.

    Magplars don't need a "buff" necessarily as they are strong currently. See my BoL increase cost thread for evidence of that. I do think many skills/passives don't really make sense though and need to be looked and and reworked or at least adjusted.
