Best grind spot is in Cyrodiil. Alessia bridge. 15-20K AP per hour with stam DK. I guess with destro ulti bs it would be much better.

Something I noticed just the other night was a small number of EP DK's and 2 healers running into a barn (forgot the exact location) and there were lots of AD players just running in and getting destroyed. I sussed within a minute they were farming and they weren't going to be wiped so moved on. Every now and then an EP player would drop from upstairs, then run back up the stairs and without fail a number of AD players would take the bait.

And some people say the AI is dumb.

Just do normal maelstrom arena runs over and over. No competition and a big xp turnin for the quest.

    I can't tell anyone my spot :)

Last event I was getting 1 CP every 4 or 5 minutes, until I hit 300cp. The second best spot is cold harbor, the only problem is many people go there and some times trolls like to have fun. But it is very good for grinding xp and also good for gold if u sell everything.

Once you have unlocked the achievements/colors on one char, they lose relevance. Grinding your first character is a very bad idea.

The only advantage of dolmen grinding is fighter's guild leveling.

There are spots that net about 1 level per 10 minutes (not champion points) without ambrosia, if you are in a two-man and no other team is there, build for AoE and sustain.

I did 10 levels in 30 minutes in stonefalls one night while teamed with a friend, with using ambrosia. This is not possible with dolmens due to loading screens and respawn timers.

I guess it's your opinion and you're certainly entitled to it. You're right, FG leveling is yet another bonus. However, in my opinion, the titles do not lose their relevance on other characters...and that's one reason I do them. That and the loot. I did not mention grinding your first character was a good or even wise idea; I agree with that. While I am sure you did 10 levels in 30 minutes, not everyone has the ambrosia or friend or knows the location of this grinding spot.

I believe the OP was asking about grinding spots he could do. I offered a suggestion with salient points.

Anyone know a good blacksmith raw material farm? I need so much and not paying 80k per upgrade piece.

Yes, there may be other grinding spots better than Dolmens. However, Dolmen grinding has a few benefits other than XP and why I recommend people do it:

    1. Easy entry. They are on every map. Just find your favorite zone and do a /zone lfg domen group...you'll get picked up quickly
    2. Loot - zone jewelry set pieces drop here - do enough of the dolmens and you'll wind up with scores of purple set jewelry for that zone
    3. Crafting material - you get a ton of green/blue items which can be deconned for materials. Plus the occasional Azure Plasma for Soul Shriven style.
    4. Achievements - there are several achievements to get. These include titles such as "Daedric Lord Slayer" and "Enemy of Coldharbour". Not to mention there are few dyes that can be opened up.
    5. XP - the xp is pretty decent. Each dolmen kill is a big bump...it's even better with double xp and xp pots/scrolls.

In the end, the benefits of doing a dolmen far outweigh the only SLIGHT xp loss you get if you search out one of those "better spots". Do yourself a favor and don't listen to the folks here who say dolmens are not good xp - they are.

It's not a slight XP loss. I could grind a character in my favourite from 0 to 50 in half the time you've do it at dolmens. Easilly.

Heartwood jewellery is trash, achievements only apply to certain people and you'll get a lot more gold and second items from grinding a spot. Dolmens pale in comparison quite simply.

Thing is, the 3 best grind spots I've found involved solely killing things that level fighters guild up. By 50 you'll be FG 10 easilly if you only grinded in these zones.

Good for you my friend. I am happy you've discovered how to level quickly in this game!

Since you have provided conjecture into the discussion, please clarify. Which grinding spot are you referring to? I'd love to test your theory. By simply stating "Dolmens pale in comparison quite simply" means nothing. No proof to back it up. At least with Dolmens, the xp is consistent as well as the loot, achievements, dyes, titles, etc. People know how to get to the dolmens. It is easy access, as I mentioned in my post.

Personally, I don't care - I level quite fast running dolmens and my titles, achievements, and loot are testament to that. I am rather happy. Since you are not providing any relevant locations to answer the OPs questions, I was offering information that contained actual value.

Yes, I TOTALLY agree there are BETTER spots for grind/farm than Dolmens. That has never been the point. Yes, the XP is less...slightly less. So what? I am going to play today, tomorrow, and the days after that. I have plenty of toons that are at 50 and am going to begin a second account.

Enjoy the ride my friend...enjoy the ride. Not everything has to be PvP.

Basically, if we're purely talking leveling rooms from 3-50 then It's hard to beat normal Maelstrom. No matter what, no competing grinders to steal your xp gain, it's easy, and it's fast... less than 30 min a run. With the XP buff on the Halloween event I was netting anywhere from 3-5 levels per run (almost 5 on lower levels when levels jump faster and 3 on higher levels).

You're defending op who is saying the know the best grinding and it's miles from it. The XP is way less doing dolmens. Even without waiting involved (which there will be often). XP is less, jewellery in most the areas is trash and you get more money and things to Devon by grinding other areas.

Not going to shout out areas as it ruins it for others, but there are 4 good areas. One in each area and one in a neutral zone. They all involve the same enemy. Neutral area is the best, then AD, then DC probably and EP last. If you don't know what I mean, you've never tried them so don't understand how much slower dolmens are.
