Where is the best place to request crafter?

Returning after a long break and can't seem to gain much traction in finding a crafter on Xbox one. I tried the player help section of the forums and no bites and Reddit seems to be somewhat dead for the craft sub Reddit. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Oh and I have requested to invited to trading guilds but no bites there either. This is when I wish we had more robust text chat and auction house...

Best way to find a crafter is to join a guild. Note I don't mean a trading guild, those may or may not have crafters, but a good Social Guild or even a Crafting a Guild. In fact, I am reluctant to craft for my Trading Guild as those people tend to be a bit more difficult to work with. But, its not quick to find a good guild. So lets work with what you have.

Hang out at a crafting station and ask people who come up if you can get some crafted items, offer the mats and gold as a tip. If you need a specific set made, like Hundings or Julianos, go to those crafting stations and ask. For general crafting, the Belkarth Writ turn in will see lots of crafters come and go as they turn in Writs, so that is a good place to find a generic crafter.

Again, Mats and Tips go a long way to greasing the skids as it were.

Your BEST bet is getting into a trading/crafting guild. Get onto zone chat in the main city zones (Stormhaven, Auridon, ect.) and you SHOULD get an invite pretty quick.

Crafters also hang out in Craglorn doing writs. Try the zone chat there and you should be able to find a crafter almost immediately.

xbox one (NA) im a nine trait crafter if you got all the mats i'll make what you need, just send me a pm through xbox, gamertag wolfxspice. im a little spotty when it comes to the motifs though, so keep that in mind

Rivenspire or Belkarth if you're not interested in joining a guild. Possibly Mournhold as well.

Essentially, it says that crafters can be found anywhere if you know how to successfully lure them out.

Easy to lure them out, be specific. Can anyone make me x set, y traits, in z style, add in cp you want and if you are willing to pay or have mats. No crafter wants to spend time discussing all those things, running to a craft station, making gear and then they don't want to pay up or haggle after agreed price.

Always remember that a master crafter spent 18 months researching and lots of gold and time getting motifs. Although many, myself included will craft for free if you have the mats, it shouldn't be expected.

Yeah if you're xbox EU I'd be happy to help you out, either pm me on here or send me a message on xbox. I'm a 9 trait crafter in everything, I haven't completed the draugr, celestial or yokudan motifs and don't have the crown store one but I know the rest.

If you supply the mats I craft for free and you can just tip me if you want to.

As someone else said above be specific with what you want and don't expect your crafter to drop everything to make your gear, especially if it involves a trip to imperial city. Depending on what I'm doing I'll occasionally reply to random requests in chat however I've learnt the vague requests aren't worth the hassle so the people just asking "can anyone make me 2 daggers?" don't get a reply from me
