They brought to us many features that we have been asking forever. It usually takes sometimes, but they do bring them up eventually.

How funny is it that a ZOS staff voted yes for AOE caps. Lol

But honestly and seriously many of us can selectively pull and posts polls and create any idea that they do and don't listen.

In the grand total of poll participation, none of them ever reach 100-300k votes so they aren't actually something ZOS should ever listen to.

What is a good idea are getting on a console social feed and watching videos and looking at screen shots.
Actual in game behaviors are what they should make adjustment for.

Just being fair cause I voted no for crown crates but am happy that I've spent 5k in crowns on them cause I've randomly obtained things I'd never have brought outright but I do use them now. All cosmetic not the potions and stuff

Rich said they want to add storage options in the future.

    I still trust him.

Will it be on the way we would prefer, with crafted containers placed in the house being made useful? I don't think so. But I do think they will add storage in future updates, like Rich said.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Ha ZOS actually listen to feedback that's funny if a 60+ page feedback thread on why not to nerf Sorc shields didn't change there minds ZOS definitely isn't giving a Damn about housing storage but why should they.

We already have a craft bag and a bank maybe they can up the bank space capacity and slightly reduce the price for upgrading you bank space but it's not that big of a deal that we arn't getting storage with housing.

But its telling to see how far off they are from what their customer's want sometimes. Plus its always fun to post these past polls and watch the Apologists squirm and make excuses. 3000 votes aren't enough, forums don't represent most of the game's population blah blah blah NO ONE likes prosperous and training drops. No one. ZOS deliberately ignored us and when that fact is presented so clearly in poll like these, everyone gets so triggered because it brings out the cognitive dissonance inside of them, their inner fanboi starts to crumble and they question their purchase decision.

Some (not all) decisions ZOS makes are NOT in the best interest of the players of this game and are motivated by profit squeezing business metrics and internal politics. We can't change that but we might as well call it for what it is.

Housing seems very well thought through, so it is not just something they did not think about.

My guess is they are going to implement wardrobe/mannequins/weapon racks, which in my opinion is the best implementation, but it is not what can be easily done within couple days, that's why it is not included into the first release of housing.

Yeah, they'll change it eventually, just not immediately and in time for the update. Nobody is going to be able to fit in a whole new feature like that in time, that's not how a production schedule works.

We will get more storage if and when ZOS figures out a way to do it without cutting into their ESO+ profits driven mainly by the crafting bag. They might actually have already done it, but want to implement something quite more complex than simply an increased bank capacity, so it will require more coding than they had time for. I'm sure they will get around to it, it just won't be in the Homestead update.

Why would just adding 100-200 slots of house storage conflict with an INFINITE crafting bag? I just want a wall where I can store all my monster helms and shoulders.

Wouldn't that look awesome? If what ever helm or shoulder you put in the bag, it would show up above your mantle. I would pay crowns for that but I think they should just put one storage chest with 100-200 slots in your house. Make people happy but you can't access it from your crafting station.

Problem solved. Stop trying to make this more complicated than it is. ZOS needs to stop being so stingy with storage or get rid of BOP gear in all dungeons, its an inventory nightmare.

I don't understand what the fuss is about? Storage is more than likely coming, it just didn't make the initial cut to be released with Homestead.

    Edit:
Here is the quote for anyone that has not seen/read this:
Chests are just decorative; you won't be able to use them as an extension to your bank. You will be able to place a personal assistant in your home, though.

Just to expand on this some. Extra storage in your home is something we know a number of you would love. It's something we'd love as well, but when we looked at all of the things had to get in for the base system, we had to draw the line somewhere. Additional storage didn't make the cut.

That being said, we are looking at ways to add in additional storage space in the future.

I don't think it would conflict with the crafting bag, the storage situation is so dire we need all options we can get, but I do think ZOS worries about it.

"That's all you need in life, a little place for your stuff. That's all your house is - a place to keep your stuff. If you didn't have so much stuff, you wouldn't need a house. You could just walk around all the time. A house is just a pile of stuff with a cover on it... a place to keep your stuff while you go out and get... more stuff! Sometimes you gotta move, gotta get a bigger house. Why? No room for your stuff anymore." - George Carlin

Not having house storage makes housing unnecessary for ESO. It's just a feature ZOS pushed without any real purpose other than getting people to stop talking about housing. Their lackeys will defend it but most people will just be silent with disappointment.

How can they not have listened when it wasn't an issue until they announced housing?

Except it very much was an issue before housing was announced, many people like me have been patiently waiting for the housing update to offer us more storage options for all these countless sets ZOS flooded Tamriel with recently. Guilds can have huge banks, I can't understand why a home wouldn't be given some sort of storage function, IRL that's a large part of what homes are for after all.

I don't understand why you guys are stressing. I voted YES. They are listening. They know just how bad you want it. Just bad enough that when they add it to the crown store you will spend your hard earned money on it. Bank on it....
