Have you ever seen a stam nb ganker use cloak? If not.. google it, u might learn something. Also not sure if you know this but in BwB we have something called "Battle Leveling". Low level toons get a buff to be competitive. Heath, mag, stam, and regens, and I am sure other things as well. Level 45/46 is at the level where you really don't get any battle leveling buff, so all those points I didn't get from skyshards would be useful right now.

Just curious, when I take my level 20 character to TF and kill things, does that make me God? Because I do

I just play to have fun, even though I am not that good, don't under estimate me. I work well with others

Access to passives, access to nearly all higher level skills and 46 levels of experience are meaningless? Hmkay.

Small addition: I actually do reasonably well on my level 15 NA stamblade (obviously has its limits), I know level isn't everything. Still, seems silly to call it "weak".

that may be the case... BUT ... EVERYONE is battle leveled to cp160 ... the higher the level the less u get battle leveled ... so a lvl 49 could very well get their ass handed to them by a lvl 10 ( since at lvl 10 the battle lvling is at its peak )

Honestly, I find running on my high level (48 or so) sorc in BWB = shooting fish in a barrel. But if you get your ass handed to you by level 10s, so be it. Blame sky shards, I guess.

@Scamh , I wont lie to you and tell you that passives are unhelpful, but BwB is a pretty amazing campaign because it is mostly just a showcase of player skill. We don't have proc sets or all abilities - even at final levels (I had an emp where I decided to get streak and destro ult rather than get hardened ward or mines). There are very few passives or abilities barring certain builds like blazing shield templars or sap tanks where level is important. And even with those examples, I can have those skills morphed by level 34.

Basically, those passives are just the cherry on top of what should be a good player. They aren't going to give you an "I win" scenario, but they might help just a little to squeeze a little more performance out.

Yeah, I agree. I've levelled sorc in BWB and currently levelling the NBs (I don't quest), and I'm staying until procs go away.

It's the entire package though, it's okay if everyone zooms in on my level comment, but gankblade (which I'm currently playing/levelling) is more about situational awareness, juggling resources when fleeing the scene, hitting hard, and most importantly: not get hit. To play it well you need to put it all together, and that takes some time (equals: levels).

Also, skyshards give points, if you dont have them you dont have all those lovely points to put into your passives and abilities. Dur.

And hell yeah its possible to get beat by a lvl 10 that knows wth he's doin, you know what their resources are? Battle leveling is stupid OP at lvl 10 and @W0lf_z13 is right, the peak is 10 and it goes to shiz from there. So while you may have all the fancy passives and skills they dont have, they have higher spell/weapon damage than you, more HP more mag and stam than you at 48.

I've been running out of money gearing up some vets in relatively steady gear. I'm waiting on golding anything until after patch notes for U13 PTS come out. And thankfully I went through this huge gear standardization a few months ago for nonvet. I haven't had to craft a thing since. Life is a dream. I just made it so I have pretty generic heavy, medium, and light armor set ups that are all compatible (say, 5H seducer and I can find the corresponding set pieces for the light Magnus pieces) and spaced at levels 28, 34, 40, 46.

If people play nonvet and tend to play the same builds - or at least use generic well-performing gear - then it's a great thing to plan out gear. Saves loads of bank space and lets you focus on playing and forum fighting.

I thought we would get a fifth thread for #PayAdenoma.

Join the line , there are plenty in front of you. I think around level 20 is the best place to be, you can kill almost anyone except the really good fighters. level 15 is not the best because you just unlocked your second bar.

Also, if you didn't notice I was talking to my friend when I said 'weak' I wasn't making any excuses or even crying about anything. So get off my leg, please. What I find silly is u turning my comments into a L2P issue.

His secrets are heavy armor with reinforced traits on the big pieces and health regen builds. It's ok though I paid recluse to steal all Adenomas heavy armor sets and replace them with tattered robes.

Recently in BwB I have been getting destroyed by Mag Sorcs and Mag Dks. I'm not sure why people think Mag needs buffed. On the other hand, It might be a good thing for my Mag NB.

You may be getting beaten up my magDKs, but they are in the gutter. They're my favorite class (well, maybe stam sorc too) and they've got huge sustain and DPS shortages along with no reliable healing option outside of a resto staff.
