    Buff Mag Sorc then

I don't know how anyone would have fun playing a mag sorc now nor when they were considered OP... the play style of hovering around land mines that you plant on the ground... BORING!!!
A long long time ago, in an eso iteration far far away....sorcs weren't relegated to mine camping. Sorcs could dance around and play the fox to their enemies. Sorcs could don armor and tank the gankblades like a DK (back when DKs could tank). Mag Sorcs could even heft a 2 hander and crush their enemies as spellsword hybrids!

But alas. Quothe the Wrobel, "Nevermore."

the dmg is not the problem, the AoE dmg proc'ing implosion is. As i said above, implosion should only proc from single target attacks/Dots, no AoE effects.

Don't tell me than a passive AoE execute is "fine".....

When you say it arbitrarily like that… sure, sounds OP… but the reality is that it procs when a target is below 15% health AND only has a 6% chance to do so.

Is not arbitrarily, is exactly like that. The low chance is irrelevant when It procs from hurracaine and caltrops.
If you allow yourself to get that low in health… you probably should die and quick like so you can get back to the forums and continue your busy work…

If you are going to start with the comments like that, let me know so i can ignore you for the rest of the conversation. If you arguments are good, you should be able to back them up withouth getting into a cat's fight.

No, the low chance is extremely relevant when it only procs at 15% or below HP. How many seconds in a row do you let yourself sit below 15% HP? Not many, right? You either heal up or you die. Hurricane only ticks once a second.

I won't advocate for stam sorcs shiny new toy to be taken away just after unwrapping it. However, I did notice something that a couple of good stam sorcs are using smartly to achieve INSANE (completely broken) dmg potential. In heavy armor.

Cruel Flurry. Smart stam sorcs are using the additional 3k (I guess 2k now, thank Talos) wep dmg on DOTs to achieve INSANE dmg output. In heavy armor. Use 5 DOTs with Cruel Flurry boost and win. Cruel Flurry even applies to Dawnbreaker's DoT...

Yes, Hurricane is strong.. Yes, stam sorcs are strong.. But what should be looked at are the MAJOR imbalances in stamina sets vs magicka sets.

    Molag Kena <<<<<<<<<<<< Cruel Flurry

And no, I don't want a staff that increases spell dmg by 2k. That's nonsense just like Cruel Flurry is. Balance the sets first before anything else.

You say 155 replies, but a lot of those replies are general banter and quite a few saying it's fine the way it is. 31 agrees is not enough to have a skill kicked into the dirt. I don't say this very often because it's generally not called for, but if you are having trouble dealing with hurricane then you seriously need to l2p

Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

Why rip NB's? Especially stam NBs? They can be very effective with the right gear and rotation. But don't forget that the margin of error in battle for a stam NB is much smaller than many other builds ESO allows currently.

There are a lot of builds out there right now that afford the player some cushion before the grim reaper comes. Stam NB, one small mistake against a good player, no matter how skilled you yourself are, it's over for you.

I will agree magica NB is "easier" to play (prob because of the utility and options you have in battle).

Heavy Armor, Efficient Purge, Vitality Pots

Are you kidding? Vitality pots *stack* with major mending - it's still just as much of a loss not having it with or without the pots. Efficient purge for 6k out of 9k Magicka is on the bar of a few niche builds... like a gankblade that can't handle being out of stealth for more than a couple of seconds without poofing into a cloud of dust.

I'm fine with the armor/spell resist buff and the minor expedition. Right now it's way too powerful and it has PvP has turned into Stam Sorcs Online. In it's current state it offers very very good large radius aoe DoT damage and combined with Power Surge basically makes Stam Sorcs almost invincible and able to deal high amounts of AOE and single target damage (see Kodi's video as an example). It also breaks people out of stealth making skills like Magelight and Revealing Flare utterly useless. Add Max CP and combine it with a bunch of other DOT's that double dip into Mighty and Thaumaturge and damage gets even more ridiculous/over the top. It's currently killing any and all build diversity in PvP. @Wrobel @ZOS_BrianWheeler @ZOS_GinaBruno

    Agreed.

It doesn't need to have damage as it already provides 2 buffs to the player. Just like, Channeled Focus, Volatile Armor, give 2 buffs, not 3. It's overpowered when compared to other classes self buff abilities.

Another option is reducing the time of the buff, or making the damage portion act like quick cloak. Either way, constant resistance/mitigation, damage, and speed has made this skill over perform.

Uhh... Let's just take channeled focus out of your list. One option provides you with both wards, the equivalent of 480 magicka regen on char sheet (120 every .5s), and major mending. The other option provides both wards, minor protection, minor vitality, and major mending.

All classes have some powerful and unique buffs/abilities. Stamsorcs have been terrible for a VERY long time, and now that they have some real synergy and strong stamina abilites like the other classes, people are crying for nerfs.

IMO stamsorcs are not overtuned at all when compared to stam DKs, stamplars, and stamblades. Each of these 4 classes has unique strengths - Stam DKs and templars have easy major mending access. DKs have incredible resource sustain, templars can purge 5 debuffs at a time for half the cost of efficient purge. Stamblades have some of the best class-based attack abilities in the game - a charge that can be used while immobilized and empowers, a spammable DPS skill that gives major wards and major fracture, easy access to minor berserk, an amazing escape ability with teleport shade, and probably the strongest overall melee ultimate (incap). Stamsorcs, finally, have some cool stuff to compete with hurricane, dark deal, and bound armaments. These skills merely synergize with generic stamina builds - they are still using mostly weapon skill lines for everything else.

I'm not defending them because I play one. My mains are a stamblade and a magplar. I've learned to deal with hurricane on my stamblade - my opener becomes a ranged attack for them. They don't feel OP to fight against at all... I'm much more hesitant to attack a stam DK honestly.

Channeled Focus/etc. gives resistance and recovery, or, resistance and healing. They both benefit from a passive. Sorc's hurricane gives resistance, speed, damage, and benefits from a passive that can instakill someone... you're also mobile while in Hurricane and the effects stay with you. To me Hurricane has the edge over the other class buffs in that it gives 3 active effects. That's my point of view, I don't think Stam Sorcs are ridiculously OP or anything, but I just don't see why Hurricane needs the damage output it has. It already provides enough utility, IMO.

So funny. Look how quiet unbiased Fengrush is now

Who's Fengrush? I just thought he was some [snip] to the MMO world. Who just create, and farm potatoes for sponsorships and donations, by promoting [snip] gear and build options in ESO. But hey, capitalism right?

FENGRUSH is the #1 player on NA, offered a new sponsorship everytime a new build gets dropped. When youre on top, killing everything is considered farming potatoes though, because hey.. capitalism, right?
