Time to give some love to ZOS

I think i'm not very wrong, if i say that 99 out of 100 times feedback ZOS is getting, is negative and same old "nerfnerfnerf - laglaglag" - rant.

I want to publicly compliment ZOS for several accomplishes. This game is on right track again and changes have been nothing but positive!

1. Performance
I have been noticing slight improvement of my FPS - rate. Game runs more smoothly now and with 10-20 better fps. Even Trueflame in prime time is playable, though it's not exactly smooth experience. THANK YOU!

2. One Tamriel
Game saver. I had long break from this game, but with One Tamriel - update, i really enjoy that every zone and place scales to my level and gives XP, rather than doing boring grindfest in same location with 100 other players while 90% of zones being useless.

3. Champion points
Much better system to deepen the builds than 16 extra-levels.

Keep up the good work ZOS!
NB enthusiastic:
  1. Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE
  2. Know-it-all elf Magblade - Healer / PvE & PvP
  3. Hate-them-all elf Magblade - Destrostaff AoE monster / PvE
  4. Cyrodiil-Refugee stamblade - Stamina Tank / PvE

Go dominion or go home

Nightblade-Hipster. I played Nightblade before it was cool - from 1.5 onwards.

I guess you live in same room with server. My fps are under 10 when prime time Trueflame keep defense... I am seriously contemplating leaving my DK at Mournhold and playing only NB, just as ganker far from zerg trains... That is how desperate I am, lol.

Yep. Being disconnected right after a 1hr seige defense denying me of my massive ap tick is a huge improvement. It's almost as if the counter can't go over a few k at once and boots you.

I think ZOS is going in a good direction and making improvements. Forums typically represent less than 5% of a games population, and most people who spend the time / energy to post seem to do so because they feel a need to air a grievance. When they're upset it's keyboard warrior time, when they're happy, they just play the game and don't make new threads on the forums lol. I think it's what contributes to the toxic community feel that this place has sometimes. You get flamed for supporting ZOS majority of the time since there is this weird "us vs them" mindset going on.

Hmm, when i said it's not smooth, i might over-glorified that, my fps will drop below 20 when all alliances drops their ultis simultaneously on alessia's bridge. :)

But i have not noticed awful lag that prevents me from doing damage anymore or that battlefield looks like a sideshow.

Not with you on performance, still get kicked in deshan when I even think about crafting something. I was using Craglorn with 1T but can no longer log out there. Overall performance is pretty poor on Xbox.

1T overall has been brilliant, just levelled a new character and was much better than before plus the gear grind hasn't been too bad. Love the fact you do see people everywhere, feels a lot more social. Only negatives for 1T are in town duelling - don't mind it but lag already hurts in these places and losing BoE for dungeons.

Champion Points or Vet it's all the same and I have enough CP for the next years increases so not something I think about. For anyone starting new I'm sure the grind will feel the same iAd it did for people who did it on Vet.

Agree man, OneT has reinvigorated the game.

Bugs seem bad at mo on console, but it's ok.

Proc set domination in PvP is a worry, but I'm a Magika player so used to dying last 6 months haha

I'm with you tho it's a wicked game that's getting better every update.

MAYBE THERE'S A GOOD REASON FOR THAT?

They can't balance, they can't communicate, the only bans that stick are forum bans, they aren't fixing Cyrodiil, but they don't mind adding crown crates of course.
They've done nothing to warrant a "congratulations". Was One Tamriel good? Yes, but we got that instead of a DLC, so that's whatever.

Whenever I am in a city it takes about 30 seconds to load the ground preventing me from move (usally happens around the craftin stations in Vulkher guard) so preformance is not that great. It also laggs all the time

One Tamriel is nice and so is the CP system though.

(Yes my computer is old but I have no issues with any other game except TES legends which sometiemes laggs like hell. All other games run fine at with graphics set to very high or ultra. ESO require medium to be playable)

Agree. They'll just shove pointless shortlived stuff our way from now on. One t was ok but nothing changed.

Personally I don't care for the pvp balance. In Cyro I still run 5tbs, willpower and Kena on a sorc and still don't have problems 1v1. What needs balancing in Cyro is numbers...atm reds are out numbering blues AND yellows at all times and just own the main campaign. There should be a server balance to stop pure domination and prevent people from just switching to thier reds just to get decent kills and captures. Proc sets aren't an issue imo, I can out shield any proc and still lay down 14k frags and a stupidly powerful execute and overload. My magplar can out jab pretty much anything 1v1. Sure some people will rek you but purely because they are just plain good at the game.

What shouldn't kill you is a level 12 who out pings / lags you and wins just by light attacking and dizzying swing.

Forum bans aren't permenent either. I'm back from my week long moderation holiday now lol it was longer than my ban for survey glitching that made me millions and still have tons in the craft bag.

same here on both counts. PS4/NA. Even when performance is good PvP is so frustrating anymore I would rather keep playing Battlefield1. RNG deciding who wins fights is terrible game design. I love this game but they are taking it in a direction that will alienate a lot of the people that made it popular to begin with.

I'm so with you OP. They're not perfect, but I still believe everyone at ZOS is doing the best they can to make the game better and better.

Yesterday, we had the big Housing announcement we've been waiting for, and Gina and Rich both on the forums commenting about it and answering questions. Finally, a break in communication! Finally, someone is here, responding to us!

And what do we do? We hound them with "WTF ARE YOU STUPID WHY ISN'T THERE STORAGE" instead of having a civil discussion about it.

I noticed that. Now the proof there is a "break" in communications is if they are here tomorrow, next week, and on a regular basis, instead of just when the forums have wildfires that need a few buckets of water thrown around.

I play one character and have done so for a couple decades now. She moves every half dozen years or so to a new game but I only play one game at a time. For the last half year or so, ESO has been our home and I am pleased with the choice. It is a beautiful giant land to explore and, overall, I enjoy how the game works. I will quickly say my primary interest is solo pve exploration so I cannot speak to pvp and elite grouping into superdungeons. I will also confess that although I have played medieval fantasy sp rpg for decades, this is my first forray into an MMO.

A couple simple things that say a lot to me:
    - When the game is down for unexpected maintenance I come here and Zos lets me know what the problem is so I know it is not on my end.
    - Twice I've had problems that required me to request help from Zos. Both responses were quick, courteous and fixed the problem.

So, yes, I'm pretty happy that Zos provides my elf this wonderful big home to play in.

I never understand these threads. Everytime someone praises certain aspects of the game I think about those aspects when I play.

I couldn't agree with a single thing OP said. Nothing seems better and it only seems to get worse.

Lag, freezes, console crashes, etc seem to get worse with each update.

Maybe I play too much and just experience these things more than OP. Maybe the game should have never been released on consoles. The reality is, the game was released on consoles and they should work on fixing these things.

It's not that we like to give negative feedback to ZOS. It's the fact that we experience way to much negative stuff in game. Bugs, crashes, exploits. Most which are game breaking and ZOS hardly does [snip] about it. Instead focusing on new content and crap that doesn't improve the base game performance, on the contrary makes it worse. Not to mention ignoring or hardly paying attention to the community, making their own decisions.

It's not that we want to. We give feedback based on experience and most of the player based hasn't had a good one. Fact.
