Watched the first year of episodes of ESO Live recently ,again. Things I soooo missed and hope you bring back soon!!
1. ESO-Live! Just come back to us!
2. Tamrielic Lore and Pronunciation with Loremaster Lawrence! This was such a great segment! Give us more Lore Info..
3. Fan Creations / Guild Spotlights... Maybe focus on smaller guilds that have been around since launch/beta...
4. Q&A !! Developers talking about new/upcoming content
5. Armchair Discussions~ Open discussion on why and whats of ESO, what can and can't be done or added.
6. THE ROAD AHEAD! This has long been missing. The first year we saw GREAT vids of Road Ahead. Year 2, saw some, not as good, but still there, year 3, none...I'm sad....
7. Ask Us Anything ~ Sooooo many questions, rumors, and "false info" on forums and in game with players. Please give us definitive answers on the growing list of concerns and inquiries.
8. Life At Zos~ Miss some of the stories of what it is like to work at Zos.
Please summon them! A holiday without a ESO Live will be like finding a "Ta" in my stocking.

I already mentioned this in an earlier thread...

These episodes should be reduced in length. Up to thirty minutes, ideally around twenty minutes.
This would however require them to be edited (they wouldn't be "ESO live" anymore I guess) so that they can summarize all the necessary information.
Not to mention that being live always brings error into the equation, especially of technical nature.
As for the "live questions and/or feedback" they would lose by ditching the live format... well there already is a thread here where people can ask any question, and ZOS answers some of them in the show.

I believe shorter episodes with more dense information would be more popular and have more views than longer, live episodes.

Changed or not, I can't wait for ZOS to start communicating with the community again, the misinformation regarding upcoming update(s) is getting out of control.

I'm going to be brutally honest.

If the shows were to come back and follow a similar tone...heck no. Those shows were literally worse than what some pro gamers put on. I literally get more from non-employees in the forums than they would provide other than release dates. Other stuff was a response to something someone in the community identified where we were awaiting a fix or change.

If you're going to take and hour to an hour in a half, the show needs to literally be a continuation from the last.

Here's my point.
In order to bring the show back it needs to be relevant and encompass topics that the community is expressing and mix in company marketing.

Let's say it began in January.
And let's say it's meant to be watched. Then it should be pre-recorded and air online after 7pm est. with the option to watch later for up to 24 months. It should
Look like a professional production and not an add-lib idea on a Friday before the weekend.

It should air at least twice a month if not weekly
I think weekly so that one week is Xbox, another is PS4 and a third as PC with a fourth for all platforms. These don't need to be 1 hour plus, they can be 30 minute....ya know....shows.

I'd start it out with grabbing edge of your seat stuff like picking actual forum hot topics and letting the devs talk on them. Overtime the community ambassadors or what not should have written portions....like a very short part.

But honestly the stuff people want to see and hear is what needs to be on there and the forums and social media are good sources for direction.

But as is.....Heck No!

Yes, but then you seem to consider lore a hurdle to be gotten over before the enjoyment can begin... rather than an integral part of the experience.

Not all of us see it that way. They can't please all of the people all of the time... so why not go for a mix of these different things?

ESO live in my opinion isn't the place for this.
I do however feel this should be on their site as a short. Ppl do like that stuff but ESO live is for entertainment an often times ppl are asking the same one or two questions over and over that are ignored while instead talking on lore....naaah

I'd love to see you take a camera around your work areas (can be pre recorded), perhaps include some concept art in the background of peoples desks (as you would expect), snippets of what people are currently working but nothing concrete you could make out but it would generate buzz on the forums... maybe even the camera dives into a meeting room with @ZOS_RichLambert and crew before someone says "turn that camera off" something small funny moments you know.

Always love that behind the scenes stuff you see and would love to "see" a day in the life of a ZOS Employee.

Call me jaded, but the way the forums are going the show would probably more of the same.
The reps only responding to praise and compliments, while studiously ignoring anything meaningful to game play even if it is phrased politely and non confrontational.

Personally, stopped watching them because...

1) Avoidance of the real questions about the game mechanics and the challenges faced
2) Got bored looking at "What people drew" every, damn, week!. The vast majority can;t draw, but hey, it was a time filler of 5-10 minutes

3) Speaking to someone for 30 minutes about how they designed a door in game and then copied and placed it around the world 200 times is not that interesting. Maybe have this once a month.
4) Avoidance of the real questions about the game mechanics and the challenges faced
5) Absolute avoidance of PVP.
6) NO DISCUSSING CROWN STORE!
7) See 1.

That's the worry. It's also kind of what's brought us to this in the first place as a community. Same could be said for forum interaction, mostly it's moderation or answers to bugs with a very very rare response to an actual question or concern. Honestly that dev tracker should be alight on a daily basis with real responses to real questions.

If they're only going to be fluff pieces and fluff Q&As then there's absolutely no point, might as well stick to scripted press interviews.

Khajiit she would make a few suggestion yes:

Make the set look exactly like the interior of the Rosy Lion complete with mass brawls, cosy fireplace, pets on the tables and who knows what on the floor.

A balance of the fluff and the serious. There also needs to be actual new information rather than just a recap of information already released. Travellers they would be more accepting of the fluff perhaps if there was new information available along with it.

More pre-recorded and edited pieces if you think that can expand the range of subjects you can cover and allow you to have a more polished feel without losing the informality and mostly live approach.

Perhaps more in game footage that travellers they may participate in? Like we used to do on Test Tamriel when we formed an unruly mob and hunted down your QA gentleman yes.

More khajiit and maybe an Argonian. All of your presenters they are without the fur or the scales.
