What's wrong with it is that it is ridiculous. It's like saying that the person in charge of your garden is nice, and therefore should renovate your house.Callous2208 wrote: »If I get hired at a truck plant tomorrow and my history of work is deeply rooted in moving organizations and jobs to Russia, people have a right to be concerned when I start giving Putin tours of the facility.
Who is "people" ? your boss ? Yes, he should be concerned. but if he lets you do it, it is HIS responsibility. As an employee, you act on behalf of someone, within the limits set by someone, and with objectives set by someone. If external people are not happy with what you do, they should blame that someone, not you. The crown crates are implemented by ZOS. This particular lady might have been hired for that purpose, but she's not the one who decided to implement them in the first place.
In the case of ESO, as far as I know, things are even more complicated : the entity in charge of marketing / public relations / corporate communication isn't ZOS, it's Beth.
Blame corporations as much as you like, but do not attack individuals. If you think they're doing a bad job (which might be the case), remember it's not necessarily because they're incompetent. It might also be because they're told to do it that way, and prevented from doing things the "right" way.
Again, there was no misinformation in that thread. Disagreeing with something is not misinformation. Disrespectful? So because he wasn't sucking up to her the whole thread needed to disappear? Again, he took one minuscule little jab at the lady in question. If she can't handle someone giving her even a teeny bit of crap over the internet (arguably for good reasons) about what she has done then maybe she shouldn't have the job??
edit
BTW, I should mention that other than what I've read about her on these forums I don't know a single thing about her She's part of the team that was hired to do a job and she's going to do her job. I have no ill feelings towards her.

I have ill feelings towards her, she spreads a corporate monetizing disease that attacks peoples wallets and sense of worth, hits the core of gaming communities in an mmo then moves onto the next circle of victims. There's a reason mmo's are in decline, and i mean proper mmo's not the garbage that's pumped out every few years from korea. It's a shame that the easy money grab is taken precedence over quality that creates jobs for people who's soul purpose it is is to fumble about in your pockets and wallets and bank accounts for every cent they can snatch from you for the least amount of work.
