Wow. Looks like you need to learn and accept that other people think differently than you and to still be polite. I'm not soulless, I'm not callous, and I'm not despicable.Stopnaggin wrote: »Just face it, the new generation doesn't understand.
I'm not part of "the new generation" either - far above that age, unfortunately. I guess it's you who lack the life experience to realize that "help" is a two-sided coin.
Help, a 2 sided coin.
Oh. I see.
You're one of those.
One of those people that think that giving help to someone can make them lazy.
One of those people that thinks proactive assistance harms the ambition of the person receiving the assistance.
One of those people that think the person getting help must start taking the help for granted and will become dependent on others.
One of those people.
I see.

I grew up in South Baltimore, have seen society decline into madness, no respect for one another. Seen people get hurt, some even died. I also served in Iraq, an experience I will never forget. Seen the good that can come from the little things in the middle of a war. But hey why help those kids in the middle of a war right? They didn't ask for any help. They never asked us for protection from insurgents they would threaten to kill them if they cooperated with us. So you know the 2 sided coin thing.
And yes I use the new generation term, you know the ones that can't accept real life and need friggin safe spaces and time off because some yelled boo. You can sit here behind your keyboard and be the warrior all you want. You can even question my experience. Yes the new generation is weak, scared and self entitled. They aren't the generation I grew up with, you know the one where respect was respect, not fear. Not the generation of keyboard warriors that hide behind a computer and spout off their opinion as if it were fact. Take it how you want but be careful making assumption about someone when you have no clue as to that person's character.

Just 2 things here :
- We're talking about an attitude in a video game. By which I mean a fantasy game for entertainment where noone is actually suffering or dying or anything or starving or threatened.
- I did not call you (nor anyone thinking differently here) any names, nor did I imply anything about anyone's real life. You did.
