Panth141✭✭✭✭✭The period since 1T was released has been the most communication-devoid period I can recall since launch. We had a small amount of information with the Apothecary Satchel incremental, some information on housing around the time of update 12 and a brief and incredibly vague statement that 'something' is happening with proc sets... other than that - no comments on balancing since 1T, no comments on timings or other details for U13, nor any discussion at all about Crown Crates since the 'we'll rework some stuff' post from last PTS.

I'm nervous because December is the perfect month to introduce some winter-themed mounts that I have been looking forward to, but it also is the perfect month to introduce "surprise boxes".Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.4 -

Yes, the Elk is one of the mounts that I am worried they will put in the crates. The other is the Ice Wolf. Is it the mounts? If I see someone riding around in one of those recoloured mounts I won't be impressed, I'll just be wondering how much money they pissed away trying to get it.

✭✭✭✭I fully expect these things any moment. They are going to wait til the last minute to announce them, maybe even "forget" to post the blog for it and just let it drop on us. They know any sort of publicity for this, after the almost universal negative attention it received last month, will not be received well.
At this point Ive resigned myself to just accepting the inevitable ****show that will follow its release with less and less content that is engaging and interesting and more of the "Look what we're going to use to vacuum your wallets clean with this month!". As long as things like exclusive motifs dont land in there (and lets be honest after they decided they were going to restrict the Grim Harlequin to the Crown Store....Its only inevitable that motifs end up in these crates) I'll grind my teeth but otherwise tolerate them. I love the game and spend quite a bit in the Crown Store when theres something there I want.
