1b. DON'T RUSH! this is a team thing not you running around farming.
4 - This is a PUG run. No need to have fully minmax'ed setup to breeze through. Expecting it is as delusional as healing with 2H.

"I miss when Vdung were tough and fun." - the biggest reason I do PUG runs is that they are always different and you need to adapt instead of face-rolling the dungeon the same way every time. For the later I have friends.

    5. Everyone knows how to revive, its just a matter of if they are a able to or not at the moment in time.

I don't buy that. Combining instruction with knives and salt will only agitate the wound, regardless if you believe it's a faster way of getting the healing into the body. (/ end metaphor) Not to mention that's not a good excuse to use tough love on everyone thinking it's the only way. If you combine a negative with a positive people will only ever see the negative and things will only get worse.

Even if there are players who continually get into groups with no regard or consideration for the other players, they are not the only ones with the issue. I've had a player abandon our group because we refused to kick who they wanted out. We were doing the Dungeon just fine but he still insisted on the kick and then left when he didn't get his way.

This is the one thing that isn't arguable. It is completely and utterly a hard fact that when doing a group activity, unless you have the blessing of the other people ahead of time, that you should not be looting the same kind of containers that exist everywhere else in the world. You are consciously wasting other people's time over something you could be doing while playing alone.

Also, PvPers and others who mysteriously don't seem to know any better: there's a crazy amount of heavy sacks everywhere. 12 man Trials are NOT the place to hunt endlessly for heavy sacks.

On your last point, if you don't use food which has a cost of approximately 5g each, then you are massively hurting your party to save 5g? Why? If you're on PC/NA I'll send you 500 of the things just to make life easier on you if saving that gold is so important.

Can use both, but food will boost health and mag/stam resource pool making your abilities stronger. I.e.: the tooltip base damage for an ability goes up significantly if you add 5k stam. Just eat as you enter dungeon then spell and potion away.

Even if there are players who continually get into groups with no regard or consideration for the other players, they are not the only ones with the issue. I've had a player abandon our group because we refused to kick who they wanted out. We were doing the Dungeon just fine but he still insisted on the kick and then left when he didn't get his way.

See, I've been on that side of the fence too, but I've also been on the side of the fence watching unreasonable people be real damn unreasonable. A few examples.

First example was a guy we had got. Healer. I was tanking, friend was on their stam DPS toon, NB, horrible sustain as you do so they ask the healer to drop shards. Healer goes off on him for being a 'whiney ***' and being 'needy'. We try to explain as calmly as possible that it'd be nice if he help the stam DPS out and that traditionally thats what templar healers do. He proceeds to say he's pure heals and if we dont like it we can suck it up with no heals. I proceed to equip my Destro, being a templar tank, equip shards, and he proceeds to leave. We three man'd the dungeon with the other pug who was like 'ya'll crazy.'

The second was a WGT run. I was tanking, my friend was healing this time. We get to Planar Inhib and repeatedly die because one DPS simply will not DPS portals, or rez. We tell them, they dont respond, they keep doin' what they doin'. We vote to kick because we're def not gonna make any progress with them holding us up. Other DPS refuses. He's a guy with Dro'mathra and Maelstrom weapons. What is his response? His response is to go 'your a bad healer and your a bad tank.'

For refrence, his complaints were that I had too much health (Little under 35 K, 33 with bloodspawn) wasn't running Warhorn and 'didn't block enough', and so I nor him had no right to judge. Of course we left basicly disbanding the party due to having both support rolls lead.

The point I'm trying to get to is extremes are bad, and people are either on the 'Meta or die' and 'Run with whoever it gives you and like it' extreme. Neither have a good track record.

But to not totally end this on a horrid note, I met a DPS who used primarily bow. Group was disbanded after we hit Maulbeth on a pledge and couldn't pass it due to DPS. One of the DPS got real pissed at me and I asked if they were new since they didn't do mechanics, and it turns out they were. Spent 30 minutes going over the basics of why bow isn't viable, how stat stacking works, and where they should go for some nice builds.

The TLDR: Help who you can but dont be afraid to give people tough love. Some people are too stuborn to lisen to you and will continue doing the same thing even if it's geting the group killed. Offer one hand, arm the other.

    1. No, just because some people prefer to not explore and loot every crate does not mean everyone wants to play that way, maybe you should make it clear before you invite people what kind of group you are.
    2. Why? It is not that hard to type not everyone wants to hear annoying kids screaming at each other in a mic over a silly video game.

I dunno, sneaky. Some people are complete idiots and we forget because IRL we simply wouldn't mix with them while they're licking rocks out behind the fence around the dog park and tying live beetles into their hair.

The last run I was on was 3 people I know and 1 pug healer. Low CP, didn't even think anything about it, really. Until someone noticed they didn't have a food buff. OK, so we offered them food.

They refused the food. Entirely. Would not eat it, "didn't need it." WTF? I guess you don't need weapons if you just want to dance and die in amongst mobs.

Suffice it to say that the tank and I basically duoed the boss of the vet dungeon.

I know eating food is part of the standard of mmorpgs now but I am one of those people who cannot stand temporary buffs from food and potions I know it is weird but its a major annoyance in any rpg for me, I will do it of course but I find it extremly boring I prefer passive buffs that stick with me or from powers themselves.

1st and only rule of PUGs... Dont expect it to run like youre running a dungeon with friends. It seems you have forgotten this OP.

Not everyone jumping into a PUG knows how the dungeon works, not everyone jumping in a PUG knows the general rules of running a dungeon. If you want a quick and swift run through, dont jump into a PUG. If you dont want players to "stand in stupid" dont run in a PUG. If you want to play with players that know to bring their own food. DONT JUMP INTO A PUG!

By the way, PSA for posting on the forums. At the very least capitalize the first words of your list and actually use proper punctuation and spelling.
