Confirmed.

Dro m'artha hasn't been dumped in there yet.

Mins shriven skin is also in there.

Good work zos. This was supposed to be a limited time only thing. Just re release everything all at once why don't you.

Well, they had limited time items on the PTS (Clouded Senche, for example).

If it makes you feel any better, there is a very high possibility that someone that tries to get the Mind Shriven Horse by buying crates will pay much more than you did for it.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Yep, trying to spin it as a benefit, like it's helping the playerbase where in reality, the only reason they're not on the store anymore is "just because".

They create the artificial scarcity, hike the price up through crown crates, and then expect you to be grateful for it :P

No they aren't time limited at all now. Personally it doesn't phase me but there will be a ton of people out there who bought these things on the premise that they were limited.

A better idea zos @ZOS_GinaBruno please pass this suggestion on to the dev team...it's a good one...

Be more creative, no one wants old content hidden behind a wall of rng and cost.

Create shiny new stuff that actually warrants it. Not just soley for the purpose of diluting the tables down as far as possible to block of the actual Atro mounts...why create a "storm Atro crate" when there is non Atro related items in there? That's just typical stupid greed. You're on the verge of failure here. Focus on new crap.

I wouldn't even call it a "very high possibility". For me it's "certainty".

Well, I missed an opportunity to get the Frostmare since I was offline during this time and I would be happy if some previously released stuff is made available to people again. Limited time doesn't mean that items cannot be back for another limited period of time, especially as devs themselves stated that they might be back in the future. I got some limited time offers as well and I don't mind if these would be back again. I didn't buy them because they were special offers (I would be a dumb kid if I did that); I bought them because I liked them.
But I am strongly against locking such items behind a gambling wall. That's why I won't buy a single crown crate just to have a 0,01% chance to get my beloved Frostmare. It's insane.

All my years of playing mmo's nothing is ever truly limited even the items that come exclusive to collectors editions seem to find a way back into the game after a while, not surprise here, I have come to the conclusion "Limited Time" only mean limited in the present, not the future. Just one of things /shrug

I don't have problem with it, one I will not be buying any cates and second will give some folks a slight chance to get something they may have missed out on.

Yeah, pretty much. I mean, there is always that one guy that gets what he wants on the first box, so I didn't want to leave that one guy out of it :P

I also only buy things I like. I NEVER buy something just because it is a limited time offer. There is only one thing I regret passing on, and that's the Gray Yokudan Charger (I'm on PC, so no Skyrim code for me). I didn't have a character that needed it back then, but now it would look great for my Redguard. It was 450 Crowns just before it left the store, too, which just makes me angrier at myself for not getting it when I had the chance. I didn't think I would be able to make this character, back then, since I didn't have enough character slots. I should have known they would sell more slots eventually, even if they said they had no plans for it back then.
But there is no way I would just ignore my best judgement and try to get it from crates. This is not an option. My Redguard can ride the Palomino like my other characters that do not have their perfect mount yet.

I'm more concerned about the items that will be in crown crates that are exclusive to them. (Not available in any other way). Go ahead. Get a frost mare or shriven horse, I dont mind. I mind exclusive new ones being caged up inside those crates though.

And limited never meant "one time ever". Zos has even said in the forums that limited items back come back at a later date.

    Yeah :(

I'm feeling nervous for the December Showcase. It might show up this week already, or early next week. I want to know what we will get in December that isn't locked in the crates.

I really don't care for the crown crate idea, I'm on xbox so we haven't seen them yet. I have seen enough videos and complaints on the forums to know not to go near them. The returns, IMHO don't seem to warrant the investment. I get the idea of microtransaction, but to me this is a terrible way to implement them.

Example I bought the dro mathra mount, I would not have gambled for it no matter how much I wanted it. I want millions of dollars too but I'm not playing the lottery to get it. The fact that I see so much filler junk in the crates makes me hate the idea even more, I don't need a bunch of potions for 400 crowns. I can crafter better ones than those.

Lol i didn't buy any of these items cause they were limited. I bought them because i liked them and had enough crowns saved up from sub to pay for them. If they were advertised as a limited number i would b kinda mad. Its not like alot of these items r going to increase the amount of people that have them by a significant percentage with the low drop rate of the boxes.

This is a smack in the face, really.

I bought the Frost Mare when it was released for 3k Crowns (my first purchase as well) because I love everything about it (textures, sounds,...) and because it was time-limited.

Now it gets thrown into the Crap Crates, and everyone has a chance to get it. Even if it's a very small chance to obtain it, it still means other players have a way to get a mount where I specifically went out of the way to buy and spend 3k Crowns during the time it was available.

I don't want this, and I don't want Crown Crates at all. Period, Exclamation Mark!

From what I've seen no need to worry, it will cost way more than 3000 crowns to get. Limited time doesn't mean once in a lifetime. Every store has limited time sales, car companies do the same. If it were really an exclusive item, limited quantity than I could see your point.

I bought the cat with the blue lights (dro' makra?) for 4k crowns lol but i didn't really buy it bc it would be rare or anything.

Still maybe they could at least change the blue to green or something that way it stays unique plus it's less unlucky if you get it again. Not that i will buy crates probably don't like gambling with real money but each their own and all that.

Pumpkin Spiced Coffee is a Limited time offer. It only comes in the Fall. Stock up if you want it some other time, but it will be back next year. That's how it works.

I don't have an issue with putting "limited" items in the Crates. It does not matter.

My issue is that most of the stuff in them is junk. Fluff, useless consumables that I would never use anyway.

If they were something like "Costume Crates" or "Mount Crates" - a bigger cost but you are guaranteed to get a random item from the category of the crate - I would be more likely to purchase them. In that case it would be less pure gambling, and more like those "mystery box" toys where you are guaranteed something from the list on the back, you just don't know which one.

I didn't say it was exclusive during that period, I said that the horse was a limited time deal only. I'm ok with it appearing again for a limited time in the future, but that should be the only way they're available. I'm not ok with it being obtained through other means.

Also, it may cost more, but there's aa chance that it mightbe less.

Reintroducing limited time items was the original point of the Crown Crates, wasn't it? It's the items that are Crown Crate exclusives that are the issue here.
