I'm pretty sure that you can tell where it hits. Pretty much anywhere that there is a hella-lot of lightning / fire / blizzard raging.
No he means when you pop cloak or mist form before you use the ultimate their no indication of where the ability was used and if they player have it activated.

I have a video of me jumping on a sorc that had an invisible storm if you want me to post it. Lag was real last night so i thought it may be worth it to record.

Destro staff ultimate . One of the morphs you unlock leveling .

    Why are people hating it?

Because it has no counter; you can't block it or dodge it, you just have to get out of the way which isn't reasonable seeing as the skill is mobile.

Do we remember when the Weapon Ultimates were on PTS and everyone was complaining about how OP the Two-Handed ultimate was and how weak the Destro staff one was? Remember all the outrage?

    So, why the change?

You people need to stop whining about this ultimate and learn how to deal with it. You are starting to sound like those whiny protesters on the news. Get over it and learn to deal. Or maybe we could start handing out trophies if that makes it better for you. Can maybe even let you not take that test today because of how hard it is to deal with this ultimate...

Are you a sorc? I ask because thanks to hardened ward and streak I also have no personal issue with EotS. But what if you don't have a ward or a teleport? Dodge? Nope. Block? Nope. Gap close out of it? Well maybe but only if there's someone to gap-close to, so situational. Put pressure on the user? Ok but what if all your skills are melee? Cc the user? But what if they have immovable pots? Do you have any advice to go with your confidence? Wanna share your technique or just gloat?

This line right here is exactly why I have no issue with it at all. We had to learn to adapt. People need to learn and stop crying for nerf.

So everyone just needs to slot hardened ward and streak? What was I thinking? Such a simple solution.

Because it hits like a truck on steroids. Which is not much of an issue on the ground targeted morph but kind of an issue on the following morph.

People realise you can just dodge, right? Good way to break up Zergs though!

It's a great ultimate in PVE too.

It depends who's casting it . Some classes have stuns that go through block and can hold you in place while you cook . It can get pretty nasty with a Majika DK with petrify and talons .

Sounds like a problem with those class CC's. Not this ultimate.

No it is just more effective on those that have good CC . The ultimate itself needs to be compared with other weapon ultimates in order to determine if it's OP and I have not had the time to look into that . I'm still on the fence until I see some number crunching .

dw 16s morph on pts i had it up to 53k tooltip.

It is very strong though a solo player cant wipe small groups with it like many people say(there are exceptions),when I see someone trying to do it players will just root/stun/snare him and split, but in group fights this ult is terrible.

Maybe its just me but I see eos being dirty with vicious death set as a mag sorc streaks into a door breach with it at a keep sheild stacking of course lol.. Anyone?

Seriously, stop spreading this fud. Magicka rules group play. Magicka rules healing. Magicka rules AoE. Magicka rules end game PvE.

Seriously, stop trying to refute fact. Try taking both a stam Sorc and a magicka Sorc through VMA.
How is this related to a single ability being overpowered?

Arguments in favor of Eye of Bullcrap are nothing but crying about obviously overpowered Stamina builds.

Maybe the real issue here is shields and healing having no real counter outside of the single silence skill in the game.

Time for a single target silence accessible by all classes.
This recent update has made me sad. Sad for the game. Sad for the community. Sad to pay whatever it is now. I want the previous eso back.

so similiar or maybe some lower tooltip and 3x more time active so less dmg per tick, can purge, easy to no get hit by this like dawnbreaker...you need someone in front of you to work it anda again can be purged, less damage tick because of longer duration

    1. there are only 2 purges in the game, 1 synergized easy to see if someone pops one down and has to be done by the individual trying to purge (not useful as most pvp fights are extremely mobile). 2nd is requires huge amount of regen 7500 base cost with only a max cost reduction of 8% (seducer) 16% (cp) 5% (worm) and 21(7p light armor) for total cost reduction of 50% requiring 7500 regen to sustainly cast. (3p magicka regen enchant plus 3 regen passives plus atronach stone + 5 skills boosting regen + drink nets about 5000 at best for a high elf vampire. so the only way to sustainly cast this is to wear lich set which means insanely soft target to focus'd dps. pvp is a strategy game. who your target how you target them, how you move, ect all effect your odds of defeating another group.

actually there is a hell of a lot of of counter to both shields and healing. first we will deal with shields:

shields cannot be crit on (who cares in pvp you dont wanna crit anyhoot as a crit against a properly geared player will do less damage as a general rule of thumb then noncrit, and the 1 build that could outdamage on a crit over a noncrit is not worth it because you sit at best 33-35k stam, 3k wp. so simply the counter to shields is - high max stamina and weapon power (dont want mages attacking a shielding opponent as they will most likely have light armor shield and that returns magicka to them). and the reason this is a counter is while you cannot crit against a shield, damage to a shield is not modified by the targets resistances.

healing: there is so many counters to healing its not funny. first of all you have the applied healing debuffs of major defile (30% debuff to healing recieved) this can tank, archers and a few other sources and can be buffed by cp. it can also come from durok's bane with applies it to someone who damages you every 1s for 10s. meaning 10 people hitting on you can debuff thier healing and you can theoretically debuff several more. next you have fasallas which applies a greater debuff (50%) but only to targets that damage you (no cooldown) but this debuff only lasts for 2s. but these too debuffs alone can turn 10k heal into only 1800 or less if you put cp into right places.

*cough* also not cheap, not spammable ulti like purge *cough*...not spammable like destro ult also but hitting weaker and can be purged/supressed easier to heal because of weaker ticks
