I would like to get the chance to mentor an npc that has been turned in to a vampire, instead of just deciding whether they live or die. I get the choice to teach them how to live as a vampire, and this mission would only be accessible for master vampires that have been a vamp for a certain amount of time, or has achieved some sort of prerequisite.

Similar to the crown store merchant and banker, the vampire npc could either be a thrall or familiar of some sort. It would provide the vamp player with unique Blood Potions that become craft-able after the player learns the recipe mix of innocent humanoid blood, necro ash, and unholy blessing.

Innocent Humanoid Blood: acquired from innocent npcs.

Necro Ash: acquired from killed necromancers killed by fire.

Unholy Blessing: acquired from a dead priest that was first fed on.

Blood Potion benefits could be: Increased speed, increased jumping height, and increased attack power for 10 minutes. I don't know. I just want something.

Thanks for reading.

I'd just like them to acknowledge my character's race/gender/mortality status at all. I can think of maybe three quests that do this currently, and that's it. :\ It's very odd for my werewolf character to go up to a werewolf hunter and the latter doesn't even notice.

So, I take it you missed out on the Bloody Mara recipe when it was available?

Which quests acknowledge your race/gender/mortality status ?

I recall one from Bangkorai which recongnized my character was an Imperial. It was about fighting Imperial controlling some mine.

That's the only one I remember... It was pretty cool, though.

    @Akevoriath That I recall...

...There's one in Orsinium that lets you become chief of a clan if you're playing an Orc, otherwise you have to pick between two NPCs.
...There's one in the Alik'r Public Dungeon that has an option only available to Redguards. (Only did this on my Breton; not sure what it does if you're a Redguard, I only know I couldn't do it.)
...There's one in Deshaan (Mabrigash tribe) where the dialog is different if you're female. (This one I'm less certain of; it's been a while since I've done that quest on any character.)

Interesting ideas, but I think having a vampire-specific power potion would be far too overpowered. Mortals would require an alternate source of getting increased attack power for 10 minutes/increased speed/etc. otherwise there would be little reason not to become a vampire - I think there really needs to be a balance between risk and reward, and this would put that balance strongly in favour of reward.

Basically you just say that you're a Redguard so wish to claim the relic by blood, and the NPC accepts that as you proving your worthiness. There are several quests in the Alik'r that have Redguard-specific dialogue other than that one, often to explain why you can get away with fighting undead. As for mortality status, there are two:
The quest where you become a vampire, and a quest-giver on the Gold Coast will state that he knows of your affliction if you choose a certain dialogue option after helping him.

I was super excited for this recipe but I have to say I wish they'd done a green one that does nothing BUT reduce vampire stages because that would have been a fun RP aid whereas the gold recipe (Double Bloody Mara) is too spendy to make to waste on that. C'mon ZOS, throw us a bone!

I think that recipe was poorly executed overall. It's a bit too pricey to make for roleplaying purposes, inferior to blue foods in terms of max health and max magicka despite being more expensive and gold quality (so you need to consume your own blue food afterwards on top of this), and unhelpful in the slightest for stamina users (I know we're probably a minority but still, I can't justify making him a gold tier food that doesn't increase stamina). In its current state it's not all that great unfortunately, I like the concept but it needs some adjustments.

I would like to see proper clans of both Vampires and Werewolves that give special quests etc to either vampires or lycanthropes. That could make for an interesting addition.
