Forced to reinstall the entire game (2nd time in two weeks)

So once again I start my computer and the ESO launcher to play, and I cannot click play only "install" and it starts to download the entire game again (40gb).

This is the second time it happened, randomly while ESO was working fine just some hours ago.

I tried renaming the map with the files to Elder Scrolls Online EU but with no success. Still forced to reinstall the damn thing.

Any real fix for this? Annoying as hell.

Could possibly try going to the game folder and launch the game exe directly instead of using the launcher, I had to do this quite a while back because the launcher was acting up and constantly trying to repair what wasn't broken.

Something is wrong on your end. If it was even slightly widespread the issue would be a hot topic in the forums.

Honestly I only use the launcher for updates, and many of my friends do that as well. The launcher is buggy as hell and have always been, it's best to avoid it as much as possible.... use it to download new updates, but as soon as it is downloaded, shut the damned thing down and make a shortcut for the exe file, and use that to log in with.

You will find the exe in where ever eso is installed and look for game/client/eso64.exe if you don't know where to look.
