reasons why i wont run vma: too long, too much work for too little reward, maelstrom weapons are not as great as people make them out to be.
I FINALLY beat this place...for my first time...after a week of going at it every night for 4-5 hours or more. 6-800 deaths on the last boss [no exaggeration...im also a slow learner :P]....I feel so relieved.
I have played a lot of video games in my time and MMO's...I truly think you are awesome for creating one of if not the most challenging video game experiences I have ever faced. This was harder than any new age game like dark souls, bloodborne etc. I congratulate you on making such a tough tough challenge
However you are also evil for doing this! And for bad traitsHowever ONE of my drops wasn't bad
My drops: Greatsword [Nirn'd] Sword/board [sword charged] [shield infused]
The duality of this post exists in a props but also a middle finger lol
Sincerely,
A fellow gamer

I mean don't get me wrong it's not easy to learn but 90% of that is the fact the game does absolutely 0 to teach you how to create and effectively use a character.
A good proportion of the difficulty of vma is not actually related to the difficulty of the content but the performance of the game itself.
But there's many harder things in other games that do actually teach you how to play them a lot better than ESO,

So far, the slogan of the event for me has been "Complete vMA and get a Mace & Board for free"
No kidding, EVERY run i got one or a couple of those.
In fact I think that's RNG jesus telling us, stop runnning DPSs and create a tank. And here lies the question, is that S&B worth for tank builds ?[/quote]
nope
