It depends on how you're looking to this question.. what do you mean with strongest?
the class that can survive longest while soloing vet dungeons for example? or just the dps numbers? or the combination?
a magNB can survive very long with a resto staff on back bar, but dps will go down
magicka templar can jab around and while in rune and with shield pretty unkillable....

Probably stamina sorcerer. Constant self heals from critical surge, high resistance from hurricane and bound armaments, high stamina sustain and burst heal from dark deal. High physical damage bonus for slotting class skills.

A combination of power and survivability. I met a Sorcerer 561 the other day who solo'd WGT Vet.. He just jumped around and things died.. Even on boss fights. His damage was insane and his health barely if ever dropped below 85%. Felt like I was in the presence of a god! Haha

I tend to run into a pack of adds in a Vet dungeon, holding block, but my Blockade of Fire followed by Path of Darkness then spam Sap, I get the majority down to around 20% health before I run out of Magicka.. Not quite sure what's happening there!

Ugh.... please don't believe everything people say! Soloing vWGT entails soloing the Inhibitor and Molag Kena alone. The Inhibitor is extraordinarily difficult to solo.
Only one player has ever soloed Vet White Gold Tower. That happens to be me
With that said, if they had insane damage, chances are they were wearing all BiS gear which can easily pull 30K DPS on most bosses. But about them saying they've soloed vWGT..... that's usually the point where you stop taking them seriously without video evidence unless it's part of their reputation that they completed something like that.
Note: I've ran into two CP561 Magicka Sorcs these days who made the same claim of soloing vWGT, unaware they were telling this to the one player who HAS soloed it. As soon as I ask them how they passed The Planar Inhibitor's Blue phase I get answers that are clearly fake and go directly against mechanics. It makes me sad that there are even more people trying to claim they've done something they could never do to get attention.
As soon as I solo Vet Velidreth, that same Sorc will tell you they soloed Vet Cradle of Shadows as well. I guarantee it. Smh

Obviously, the guy meant that the sorc clearly dealt the vast majority of the damage and never needed healing. The key is to read context:Tranquil_Fairy wrote: »

He speaks as though he was there watching the performance and so meant that he practically soloed vWGT.
I'm sorry this guy triggered you, but try a little humility in the future.

No, you do not seem to understand. @Vaoh is the only one who every solo'd vWGT. He was, he is and he will always be the only true master of vWGT. There is nobody in this world who could only dream about achieving the greatness he has achieved. Molag Kena and her ancestors fear him and only him. When he enters the battlefield the The Planar Inhibitors blue phase of destruction and fire turns into a yellow phase of fear and urine. He is the only person that will ever be able to do this and don't anybody dare to say something different.

Stacking your CPs into Reduced Magicka Cost before anything else and utilizing Siphoning Attacks would really benefit you!
Casting a light attack in between each skill would add up to 1K+ Magicka return every second.
Definitely a must-have type of skill for sustain on a Nightblade.

Not to mention that with that morph all other direct damage attacks have a 10% chance to restore even more magicka.
Also the 120 CP perk from The Apprentice, Magicka Well, procs a lot and unlike long range magicka builds who hardly ever get the benefit themselves due to the tiny 2.5 meter radius centered on the recently departed mob, magblades do get it because we're typically a lot closer to the mobs we're fighting.

My magplar gets that well every time, being puncturing sweep point blank killer.

the strongest class is the one you are most familiar with
then you have to gear to your playstyle
gearing is the hardest part cuz everyone's like "i wanna one shot kids" and then have no armor and sustain
^ dont do that if you want to be good
