What if they gave a more limited version of the crafting bag to non-sub players, such as a bag that only holds 10 different materials? Would you be more open to that?
I'm a sub and I support your suggestion.
Something on the lines of 1k crowns/10 crafting bag space, with a maximum of 100 slots would be good for all, imo.
Now - I love the crafting bag addition in the recent update - I also like that ZOS tried to give Plus subscribers some extra bang for their buck - unfortunately in this case I still think it works against the game's players, both Plus and Non-Plus.
The issue is one that has persisted for a long time - and that is people who hit up crafting nodes and take ONLY 1 item, and leave the others - thereby preventing the node from respawning.
There is only one reason people actually do this - limited inventory space. You don't see as many Plus users doing this, for the obvious reason that they can turn Auto-Loot on, and they don't have to worry about crafting mats bogging up their inventory. The issue is a lot less common now - but clearly it still happens - my time in Wrothgar has been showing me as much.
For non-plus players, they have to worry alot about inventory management - especially with the massive number of different mats out there. I'm pretty sure without the crafting bag I would lose all 200 inventory spaces to Food alone. It is ridiculous - with so many different mats in the game, the Crafting Bag should be for everybody or for nobody.
Quite frankly - as somebody who enjoys the benefits added by the bag - I'm still just as subject as anybody else to the problem that it was meant to help alleviate.
There is no reason for the Crafting bag to be plus only - all you do is encourage people to be picky about resourced and it holds everybody back. They aren't going to buy plus for just the crafting bag - they're going to take the goods from the nodes and do as they've always done. I'm sick of going to pick up clothing material only to find crawlers. I know I don't contribute to this issue because I have auto-loot and unlimited inventory space. If I get worms I don't want - I can sell them, it doesn't hurt me to hold them.
Please ZOS look into just making the Crafting Bag for everybody - but so the Plus users don't get their knickers in a twist, give us a different feature of some sort. This is an issue people have been complaining about since the game came out - and you have the perfect solution but you decide to lock it to paying players only - thereby hurting the people who DO pay.

Boom. Million dollars day one.
I have been playing this game a little over 2 years and never subscribed. Not becouse I had something against ZOS or I wouldn't want to support the game. I just find it easier to control my life when I don't have to think that I am wasting paid game time when I am going out with my friends or doing pretty much anything else than playing ESO. I buy Crowns every now and then, have bought all the DLCs (+Imperial edition & Adventure Pack) and some nice cosmetic stuff from the Crown Store.
I was a bit disappointed when I heard Craftingbag is only avaliable to Subscribers. @ValkynSketha I have fully upgraded bank and 3 mule characters with fully upgraded bag. Yet I am still running with 15-10 inventory slots, which indeed is the reason why I leave bugs into crafting nodes and green & blue weapons/armor pieces into chests. I don't want to be constantly deleting them. (I have to admit I am a bit of a hoarder and have saved many sets that I probably wont ever use and some "Mementos").
If a crafting bag was avaliable in Crown Store I'd be ready to pay 5K crowns for it without second thoughts. (possibly even more but I would starting wondering wether ZOS' is having economic crisis or if they are just greedy)

1st point proven false.
I have over 1k "Ta" that's the real issue. Too much junk that never gets used, has no value, and pointless.

If people want the bags bad enough they can pay the 15$ a month like everyone else who has it. It is a nice incentive for people to subscribe.
The only other decent perk for subscribing is dlc access and it can be bought by itself. Take away craft bags and there is no point in subscribing for many people.

It's called bag, bank, and horse upgrade. We have a limited version. Honestly I would sub for the bag alone so they obviously know what they are doing.
Interesting perspective.
Every time you come across an enchanting node with no aspect, it's because I took the Kuta and left the rest.
Just kidding. But seriously it did not occur to me that people with crafting bags might feel this way. We did all manage to get by somehow before they existed you know.
