well, regarding the price of ~450 gold for 1 columbine on PC EU, it is.
Well, someone else (namely @Reorx_Holybeard ) in this thread made a more comprehensive report and calculated that on average a satchel was worth 2K gold in current PC prices gold equivalent.
I'm not sure but I think the current "exchange rate" between TV stones and gold is more or less 1:2, that would be 1:4 so yes it's a significant difference but not a revolution. Yes it will contribute to a certain normalization of alchemy reagents' prices, which isn't bad imho (even if I'm a seller of those). But it won't revolutionize everything. People who are too lazy to just go out and pick up flowers are just as lazy to go to IC and kill mobs for TV stones. People who are ready to farm mobs for TV stones ARE THE SAME PEOPLE who are currently farming flowers overland. Lazy people will still buy reagents instead of farming them and spend gold (then whine about the prices) rather than collect them themselves, one way or the other.

People keep saying pvpers don't want to have to run around farming flowers, acting as if all the PvE'rs enjoy picking flowers for hours.
I enjoy farming from time to time but not flowers that is really boring. Mainly the only farming I do is for leathers since I get to kill stuff while I farm.
I would say there are very few people who enjoy picking flowers, which is 1 reason why they still had a good price for them.
Stop saying PvP'rs don't like farming flowers as if PvE'rs do. The market will likely be flooded when all the people with a large stockpile of tel var buy a lot of alchemy reagents.
Soon everything will just be given out at a vendor for free. (Maybe a little exaggeration)
As far as farming flowers, it a drag but it did provide income. I can farm much more tv than flowers in the sam period of time. The prices will drop, just like crafting mats dropped. It just cost me one more thing I can make any decent profit from. There were only a few high priced reagent that would sell consistently, just like the trials gear before bop. So yeah good for some bad for others. I'm really more pissed about the fact that this is one more thing to make crafting a profitable profession in game. I spend most of my gold on motifs, at least the one not behind a paywall, this will mean less money for me to buy the motifs I need which in turn makes me a less viable crafter. They are killing the crafting profession in this game little by little. Which is one of the parts of the game I really enjoy.
