Maybe just a slight change in the vMA loot ZOS? Pretty please.

Why not make Maelstrom weapons unique items, meaning you can only get 1 of each weapon per character? Obviously the RNG is still there, but at least you won't get crappy weapons twice will be gone thus raising the change of getting the desired weapon after each clear.

So you keep all the traits and the extremely diluted loot table, but at least you're bound to get the weapon you want some day.

Obviously if you wanted to dual wield with 2 daggers or 2 axes of the same trait, you'd have to either run the arena on 2 characters.

I doubt we will see any token system introduced, but I think that this is a viable alternative. What do you guys think?

PS: Might as well add an achievement for getting all the vMA weapons there are, in every single trait. And a new polymorph that transforms you into a Power Inferno Staff or a Charged Maul after completing the achievement. /sarcasm off

Why would you want to run 2 axes or 2 daggers..? Axe + Dagger is the better combo anyway.

I don't. I run 1 axe and 1 dagger because I'm already at 70% as a Khajiit. But there might be someone out there who wants to reach 70% crit and needs a second dagger to do so with their current set up.

2 daggers = higher crit. Only reason you´re using the axe is because the bleed from dualwield passive tree on axes can be empowered by maelstrom weapon enchant.

Wait so you'd rather have a chance to get your desired weapon not change after each complete? Do you really love those Powered destros and Charged daggers that you'd see them more than once in your final chest? Nice.

Do you really think I didn't know that?.. The empowered bleed is the only reason anyone dual wielding uses an axe. Otherwise axes would be trash.

You also can still run 2 daggers but not in the same trait aka Sharpened and Precise, which is what I think most people do in trials in terms of traits. And trials is really the only place where having vMA DW actually makes a difference. Then again, I still consider Axe + Dagger to be better and its what I personally use. But anyway, what's the big deal with running vMA on 2 characters? I'm sure most of you have more than 1 character.

I don't care about the RNG in Maelstrom. I haven't got best in slot traits and I don't care that I don't, I can still pull 40k+ pretty comfortably.

I was referring to your idea about having to complete maelstrom in different characters to get duplicate weapons. Although I can complete maelstrom on 3/4 classes I don't think it would be nice to force Player A into learning a new class just because he wants to run 2 daggers with the same trait on one character.

Please stop saying ''you'' because I'm not talking about myself or my own experiences in maelstrom. I'm talking about YOUR ideas and how they could affect others, not myself.

The damage from the axe is worth more than 3% crit. It is one of the strongest DOTs in the game. It is pretty much a free ability use.

So increasing the chance of getting the weapon you want is a completely idiotic idea then... Okay. Last time I checked people were complaining about duplicate weapon drops happening. If vMA weapons were considered as unique items that wouldn't happen. What do you exactly consider stupid here? The fact that you'd have to farm it on 2 characters for both DW weapons in the same trait? Okay cool, well how about if I took that line out and you could get a maximum number of 2 weapons in the same trait for DW? (this is even worse as it makes the DW loot table more diluted). Or the fact that each time you get a weapon with a crap trait you'll never have to see it again? I just don't get what kind of horrible things you have to say about this.
